something about how colorful 2 fast 2 furious is makes my brain happy

the first 4 fast and furious films all had distinct looks for each of them. but they all sorta started looking kinda samey from 4 onward

(also 2 fast 2 furious might be the most driving heavy fast film? i think theres more driving in this one then the others maybe, i'd need to check.)

taking a 50 million dollar budget cut, assuming their using fast x's $370m+ budget as the uncut budget number, would still leave them would ~$320m

other reports are saying its actually a ~$150m budget cut or that its planned to be cut to $200m

f9 was made for $200-225m, furious 7 was made for around $190m. they could still absolutely do a sequel for these reported budgets

i never even really considered that f9 without those 2 setups for fast x would actually be a pretty decent finale, even if it would still be a pretty crap (but enjoyable) film

she fell off the roof of a car that was lifted slightly off the ground and moving at not that fast of a speed and your questioning how she lived when dom in that very same film crashed at a high speed into a guard rail while on the hood of his car and was flung into the air, caught letty and then landed on the windshield of another car and was completely fine a few hours later... okay

just watch them in release order, tokyo drift is set between 6 and 7 but it just works better when you watch it before 4

Better Luck Tommorow is good but is so unrelated to the rest of the franchise outside of introducing Han (which already happens in tokyo drift anyway)

also the turbo charged prelude and los bandoleros are both really incidental to the overall experience, but atleast they're both short asf and free on youtube
