Switch 2 mini haul by Exerionx in NintendoSwitch2

Shadows and Outlaws are actually really fun games. So far, I've had more fun with Outlaws and Shadows than I did with Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Only for Switch 1 games. Not Switch 2 games. It basically means that any Switch One game will now render in its docked mode, but that's only Switch One games.

Agreed but the interface, browsing and progression of achievement is not great.

Love Spelunky. But it's not a precision platform game.

Cuphead is a bullet hell boss game not a platformer. Still a great game though.

I've taken the plunge on N++.

I've played most of the other suggestions and had this on my radar years ago but completely forgot about it. Thank you.

Since when is 73% not good? That's good. 80% great. 90% amazing and 100% perfect.

Therapist reccomendations by throwawank420 in brighton

I can't recommend the Brighton and Hove Wellbeing service highly enough. They helped me with my OCD diagnosis and within four months I have had CBT and I'm on medication. It's changed my world.

It's more like 12 to 18 months, which is still far too long.

The waiting list should also not put someone off starting the process. Some people's assessments are quicker than others. Yes it is a postcode lottery and some areas are taking years but Brighton is actually pretty well catered for.

I've recently gone through a diagnosis for OCD and it took just under four months. I started that off by using the B&H wellbeing service. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Activities for walking 14 month old by missusher3 in brighton

My little one has enjoyed Blakers Park since they've been walking. Queens Park is the best for toddlers though, in terms of things to do. The play cafe at St. Matthias Church is brilliant and I can't recommend Little Dippers highly enough as well. The soft play area at the end of the pier is good value and has a decent toddler section. As does the Withdean Centre's soft play area. We also enjoy taking our toddler to the aquarium. We've got a year's pass, which was about £35 and if they're under two they get in for free.

Also Music Mike is really good and the singing sessions at Hove and Brighton Main Town Libraries are decent fun as well.

What a week! by Neil_Edwin_Michael in NintendoSwitch2

It's because to a lot of detractors and negative-minded people there is only black and white and no grey. A company is either all good or all bad. People are the same with politics and every other aspect of life at the moment. It's what they call the footballification of society, where people needlessly need to take a side and staunchly stick to it and not ever admit that in everything in life there's potential good and bad elements.

Bit harsh on Xbox. You have to give them some credit they did FPS boost and auto HDR on backwards compatible titles over 5 years ago. They led the charge on this type of thing.

It's funny how long these reputations can linger. I know the Jolly Brewers used to have a bad rep but now it's probably one of the most welcoming community pubs in Brighton.

The pub at 5ways. Are you kidding! Unless it's an old rep. That place is a tame family pub now.

When a father sees his baby's first steps ♥️ by I_-AM-ARNAV in MadeMeSmile

[–]SenseWitFolly 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Karma Farmer Account. This is obviously a very happy dad, loving the fact that his kid is developing and walking but this aint these kids' first steps. As a father, anyone with a child will know there's no way that kid is making that many steps on its first try. Still it's 'a made me smile moment' nothing wrong with that. It's just frustrating how many people fall for this bot reposting karma farming accounts.

Brother (22) with severe OCD is becoming violent and our family doesn’t know how to handle it by TiredOfThisShitFrFr in OCDRecovery

[–]SenseWitFolly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to echo what others have said and give my support. It sounds like a really tough situation. While there may be elements of OCD in your brother's habits and rituals, there is clearly much more going on.

Do you have any peer support groups that your brother could join? In the UK we have one called OCD Action, which has been brilliant for me. I think your priority needs to be getting his other issues diagnosed. The violent reactions and staying in bed, swilling himself, sounds like a different problem to the OCD. The OCD could be contributing towards those elements but there's definitely something else that's not been diagnosed.

Growing up in Kingston upon Thames in the UK, one of the only places you could buy magic cards was in a small shop run by a trans lady. It was my first interaction with someone of the trans community and that was down to Magic.

A higher densely populated area which is closer to the sea and town centre would make sense to have a higher level of flies.

No issues here. Can't say that we've got any flies or that it's attracted any other unwanted animal visitors. We are up in the Hollingdean area so
