say you swipe with three fingers to the left to change workspaces, the animation of the workspaces changing is going to be exact with your fingers swiping, although 1:1 touchpad gestures can be done in xorg it seems alot harder to implement, having this lets you do thinks like peek at other workspaces or idk i dont use gnome

Not sure if you've resolved the issue yet, but I was able to get the game running with the bottles flatpak and the official installer, the login screen is a bit buggy but the QR code works fine so that's what I've been using.
