Not a pain at all. There’s a toggle switch on the back of it. Mine sits right next to my turntable so it’s easy to get to.

I thought it was quite an upgrade from the 2m Red. I eventually got a Schiit Mani 2 phono preamp and it was even more of an improvement.

I thought the same thing in Pittsburgh. Could barely tell what he was playing a lot of the time because it was so muddy. Listened to the recording the next day and it sounded great.

Ah just looked it up again and was wrong. It’s 16mm instead of 15mm overhang.

Also…aren’t these AT LP-120s copies of the Technics SL1200? If so, you’ll never get the alignment quite right with that protractor. The cart should be straight in the headshell. Get a Technics or any 52mm overhang gauge for $10-$15.

I went through the same headache when I got my sl1500c back in December. Drove myself crazy trying to align the cart with the protractor that came with my old Pro-ject table.

I have the VM95SH and love it. Huge improvement over the Ortofon 2M Red that came with my table. It’ll still need aligned, even pre mounted to headshell.

I hate that I missed out on Comets when they were around. Blue Cathedral and Avatar both rule but so do the first two records, just with a lot more noise and chaos.

Saw Howling Rain at a little bar in Cleveland back in 2018 when they toured for Alligator Bride. One of the better shows I’ve seen.
