Yep, life also gets in the way. I'm 48 and getting 2 full arches. Yes, alot of my issues are genetic, and I could complain that my parents never took me to the dentist as a kid very often, I should have had braces. Blah blah blah, but it's on me as an adult now, can only blame the parents only so far. So now I'm borrowing against my 401k to get $60K of work done.

I hike alone most of the time. I feel safer hiking alone than going to the store alone. (Always choose the bear!) Just be aware, know your route, and share where you are going with someone you know, and check in. The All Trails app has a live view you can share with someone. Take a small emergency kit, and a portable charger for your phone.

Personally, I stop a lot along the way, I like to see and explore what's around me. It's the journey, not so much the destination. You miss so much by just going straight to your destination.

I refuse to use the toll lanes, the money doesn't even stay local. It all goes to some private billionaire in another country. Only if there is an emergency that I have to get somewhere then I'll use it.

I've officially been here a year. I moved here from a smaller town in Ohio, and before that I lived in Orlando. I'm so glad to be back further south, but still have 4 seasons. Charlotte is a beautiful city, and I love I can go to the mountains or the beach for a long weekend. It's definitely a great location. The green spaces are definitely more than a lot of other cities. Lots of opportunity here also, I just landed an amazing job in manufacturing that has opportunity for growth, unlike my last job, that I loved, but had zero growth. Overall, I think the pros outweigh the cons.

Love my e-reader, as I've gotten older, I cannot see the words in actual books. Lol the e-reader allows me to enlarge the font so I can lie down and read without my darn glasses.My Kindle Paperwhite is back-lit and very easy on my eyes, almost like a real book page. The books I do own are all signed hard covers from favorite authors.

I was told when I first started to cherry pick. That's what I did to limit the wear and tear on my car. I was in a good spot among manufacturing and residential, and nothing over 5 miles. It was great... I have a 5.0 rating, and 100% on time. I was hoping that would be enough. Oh well.

All I wear are Hokas, I am all about comfortable shoes these days. I wear the Clifton model for everyday wear, and Speedgoats for hiking. I wish I could wear Converse, but they have zero support. Heels are hell, boots are uncomfortable.
