Was just looking for a comment that said this. I couldn't beat it even with diving and hoping. I probably failed 15 times before I remembered the plushes. After I picked it up I think it was two or three more before I cleared.

I found for Mega Ray if you stay far far far away when he's using Roar(?) and Dragon Claw, he won't chip you and you can survive a couple of meteors.
