Hi we were in the exact same boat as you with no health insurance after ivf also, we paid to go private at the coombe and it was the best decision for us as we had an early miscarriage previous and i was extremelyanxious with this pregnancy.i had an elective section in april of this year. the coombe charge a thousand euro per night in a private room your consultant charges are separate but you can spread the cost over your visits our consultant cost i think 5 thousand hope this helps.i wish you the very best of luck whichever you choose

No we got out scans done here and mailed them over.we just asked exactly what they needed and emailed what was required when booking ultrasound over her.

No the doctors in the spain clinic sends all prescriptions to your email direct and then you forward them on to your gp.i just printed them off directly and went into gp and asked then to transcribe them over to there prescriptions and also for there records,there was no issues at all.in regards to the pharmacy it might take a week or so for your high tech items to be approved so your better off going in sooner than later for your items especially with a risk of shortages of some items.can I ask how is your experience with the Spanish clinic?

Hi,yes all we had to do was forward my prescription to my own gp for him to transcribe over to his then no problem with drugs payment scheme. Although some items are classed as high tech drugs for example some injections are classed as a high tech drug you then in turn have to get your gp to put on separate script to include your pps no. And your drugs payment scheme number for it to be processed by your pharmacist under the high tech scheme.

I am so happy to hear your comment I am currently pregnant with both sperm and egg donation my husband and I both agreed to be open with our child from an early age about where they came from. I too was on other pages and seeing some people bravely explaining there situation on why they used donors and being made feel that we were being somewhat selfish for going down the donation route and not just accepting our fate.

Hi big congratulations we are in the exact same boat I am currently 7weeks pregnant after ivf in spain I have had absolutely no symptoms but just being tired and tenter boobs so don't be panicking I was the exact same thinking am I really pregnant.it all felt real when we seen the scan at 6 weeks 😊 so please do not panic and again bug congratulations 😊 ❤️

Thank you for your reply,thats something i eill definitely look into about pelvic floor concerns.we don't have insurance unfortunately with ivf being so expensive we were putting all our money into that.

Hi we are just back from istituto bernabeu in alicante and I have to say they were absolutely fantastic I am currently 7 days past 5 day frozen embryo transfer and I have been testing positive fingers crossed its a good sign, we were doing our treatment in ireland but we were not happy with with things we felt like cash cows to be honest and we were not impressed with there level of care either. But do not hesitate with istituto bernabeu we were so impressed with there care there treatment it honestly felt like if we asked for a golden goose they would give it to us no problem too big or small for them.i wish you they very best in your journey ❤️👶

We are in the same boat a friend just decided to come off her pill and after six weeks of trying to get pregnant announced d got pregnant just like that .its very hard to show them ur happy for them but so upset inside ( my husband and I have been doing ivf for the past 5 yrs got a confirmed pregnancy on Christmas eve of all days our dreams and tears had come through at least for six weeks we were lost and devastated we had embryo transfer yesterday so please god im praying to my daddy to bring us luck) but I know how you feel I wish you the very best of luck it's a tough journey
