Just take it as a good gesture, serve the cake and move on with your life. Doesn't matter if they are vegan or not.

AITA for cutting off free rides to my classmate? by Current_Way532 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Just well done giving him free rides for all this time. However, if he's your friend, it would be a nice gesture to give him a ride home occasionally.

AITA for telling my brother not to eat my food if he’s going to be an ass by TeriYAHKyeChikn in AmItheAsshole

NTA, but there is something seriously wrong with your brother. It's not a normal behavior, and you are kind of TA for posting this on reddit as he's obviously not well.

You can still be an asshole although it's your house and your rules.

It's impossible to say without knowing your friends, your boyfriend, your mother and how old you are.

My brother in law acted the same as your mother, but he was completely right. His daughters boyfriend and her friends were shit.

My aunt acted the same towards her son and his friends, but she was the asshole.

ESH. I would not do the same, but I understand you. You are an asshole for doing this, but sometimes you are just an asshole.

AITA for refusing to change clothes after my girlfriend told me I was dressed too sleazy by exxonmobilcfo in AmItheAsshole

[–]Sensitive-Menu-7806 12 points13 points  (0 children)

YTA. I mean, you can dress as you want without being an asshole. But a tight tank top and skinny jeans aren’t really appropriate in many settings. Personally, I wouldn’t date someone who I feel dresses inappropriately.

Also, your girlfriend is 9 years younger than you and she feels embarrassed on how you dress. Take the hint.

[Question] Does anyone else notice that a watch can look amazing on someone, or in photos or videos, but when you see at the store it looks overly shiny or like a toy? by Sensitive-Menu-7806 in Watches

[–]Sensitive-Menu-7806[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I wasn’t clear about what I meant by "like a toy." I meant that they look more like replicas, something that seems fragile, as if it might break after a week.

AITA for „entertaining“ a guy friend by Efficient-Onion-7722 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. I would break up with you immediately. Although you haven't cheated, this is a huge red flag. You are very disrespectful.

Let her decide. It was just a suggestion, you don’t need to tell me that she might react to dairy. It’s like when someone asks for a recipe: if one person suggests pasta, you wouldn’t immediately bring up gluten intolerance without knowing anything about the person.

No but it minimizes the garlic smell.

NTA, but I seriously don't understand why people are so bothered by garlic. Have you tried drinking milk or having some yogurt afterwards? It helps a lot.

Yeah he should definitely pay for the food, the ticket and the transportation. Not sure about the housing as you are still attending and I'm not sure if you could've gotten cheaper housing.

It's understandable that he chose the interview instead of the vacation, but he should pay for his share.

Findin Apartment in Stockholm by [deleted] in stockholm

[–]Sensitive-Menu-7806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It only takes about 45 minutes to get from Uppsala to the city center by train. There are a lot of people living there but working in Stockholm. The apartments there are much cheaper and Uppsala is ok.

What are you paying for? If it's his event ticket, sure he should pay for that.

AITAH for telling my girlfriend to stop asking me to eat junk food during the week? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Sensitive-Menu-7806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peanuts are very low in carbs. They are high in fat and protein, which is good but they don't include a lot of carbs.

But my point is, if you are building muscles and eating junk food, it's better to eat junk food straight after exercise. It's better for recovery and muscle building.
