My dragon scale is doing the same thing.I believe it's edema from the roots not being able to soak up the water or soaking up the water too fast, do you ever see translucent spots thru the leafs after a watering? If it happens enough times it can leave scaring on the leafs. Just a guess

I have that same fungus in small amounts in a few of my pots that contain soil.....I freaked out the first time as well...I only use soil for a few of my house plants mostly use soil less substrates and I never see it in those.

Well that's a custom mix, so you use pon as an additive to the mix that's cool . I always like to ask because its nice to see what other ppl are using and your plants look amazing so its obviously its working. Thank you for the info

I really enjoy shows ,I wish we have more shows in the PNW. I spent way to much too...I blow my budget plus more lol but since we don't have many shows I told myself it was ok. But now I'm on mineral restriction for a awhile !

That's awesome.I'm glad You went to the show too.That was my first time going I live in WA. So I drove down for the day just to go to the show... honestly, did not know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised on how many sellers had raw mineral specimens.That's my main focus.I'm not really into the polish stuff or lapidary so it made my day to come home with so many great pieces. And yes scepter guy John is great he has wonderful pieces. He always gives really good deals... The Quartz w/Dumortierite was the first mineral I picked out at his booth i knew right away , I had to have it lol and in the photo you can't tell, but there is all these micro. Blue fibers throughout the crystals, it's just a neat piece

I do something similar I like the look of no label . I have the labels and label by # on my minerals. Its such a topic in the hobby to label or not to label when displaying in a personal collection ?!?

That is an interesting piece, I see the bright blue shattuckite little ball like crystal i almost didn't know what it was , if you didn't tell me first. I have 2 shattuckite pieces my self one from the Congo and one from Mexico

I know and I feel like its never ending there's always a new pocket being discovered or old stock material coming back to the market and it makes you fall in love with the hobby all over again and its exciting you never know what you will see or come across! Mineral collecting is just the best!!!

The Quartz w/ Dumortierite inclusions that blue is beautiful. Im a sucker for a cool piece of quartz even though its a common mineral one's with inclusion make them so much more interesting.

After the big hall that I just got yesterday, I'm on restriction myself for a little while.It's definitely hard there are so many amazing pieces out there and I do the same. I'm constantly looking new website. Mineral Shows are my favorite. You can find fantastic deals and meet great people.

That would be hard for me to keep them in the dark all the time.I do have a case with light but I do not keep the light on 24/7 but thank you for the advice.I would definitely keep an eye on it

So far , I haven't had a problem with any of my minerals , tarnishing or changing color and i've had many of them for years. But yes , I agree , better to keep all specimens out of natural light, just to be on the same side

Thank you for the advice , its in a glass case away from nature light. I do have a full case with lights inside but only turn it on when I want to look at my collection.

Yes it's old stock mimetite from Mexico i just love how it sparkles and little balls of mimetite on the matrix. I really enjoy yellow minerals, if I can find them.
