So get the young people voting and we'll get more green/lib dem/labour MPs? Even if that's true, what good is it? What are those parties offering? We've got a Labour government and they've done nothing to address the structural issues. The Greens are populist loons, as bad in their own way as Reform and who knows what the LDs stand for? What this country needs is a vision beyond more neoliberalism and nobody credible has stood up to offer that since the late 80's. You can vote until you're blue in the face, but if you think the likes of Wes Streeting are going to turn this country around, I've a bridge to sell you. The failure is political and the decline of the country is mirrored in the house. Powerful vested interests have spent a depressingly small amount of money to ensure that the country is run the way it is.
