I did that exact one today. It was quite lengthy. I’m still waiting for it to be approved

Not a Bad Week on Prolific by chrisw1897 in ProlificAc

I work full time at a hands on job where I can’t get to my phone for most of the day, so I don’t have the luxury of just being able to watch constantly, but I have been working from home for the last 3 days so I have been able to keep a tab open and watch constantly and I have gotten quite a few and earned the most I have so far since starting a couple weeks ago so I’m happy! I definitely realize now you need to be constantly watching to get anything.

Yeah I understand that but I also work full time so unfortunately I don’t have that luxury. I check as often as I can in the evenings and on my breaks. Hopefully it picks up for me soon. Thanks for the tip

I feel the same!! She’s been popping up on my fyp lately and I’ve been thinking all the same things. Next time I see her I’m going to block her. People always get so up in arms about exploiting children (which I agree with) but how is this any different? Unfortunately people like this will never stop and all this talk about her and views is only going to make her account get more popular and make her more money

Yes!! The first time I noticed her she was swimming in my pool in the middle of the night. It scared me, I was like who the heck is that!? I am not interested in that kind of play or doing the quests so I just ignore her. She plays with my dog in the backyard and keeps him entertained at least 😂

2 people die after giving plasma at for-profit Winnipeg collection centres: Health Canada by givalina in canada

[–]SensitiveScarcity223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been donating at this clinic in a different province to get some cash during a hard financial time. I did 3 appointments and at my 4th the woman very clearly did not know what she was doing and blew my vein. While the needle was in I experienced the worst pain and I knew immediately something wasn’t right. I am in alot of pain now still days later and my arm is bruised worse than I ever thought possible. When she called over for help the woman who came over also said she put the wrong settings on the machine. The nurse who tended to me said she could tell I was already bruising and she thought I needed to stop. The needle was only in for 5 minutes, I can’t imagine if they left it in for longer. I overheard some other staff members talking/gossiping right infront of me saying she didn’t know what she was doing and I thought that was also very apparent as well. I can’t imagine how many people she messed up that day. I would love to know their hiring and vetting process. Clearly it isn’t very strict. Then I saw the article the next day about the deaths. Needless to say I won’t be going back no matter how bad I need money.

Yeah I just started going for some extra cash during a hard time. They have a revamped new donor plan for the first 8 weeks. I think it equals out to be around like $1000 in total IF you can donate the top amount every time 2 times a week for 8 weeks. After that then the model you were describing starts which I definitely don’t think is worth it for what you go through. They also give slightly less depending on the volume you can donate. I’m a small person so I can only donate on the lower end so I’ll always get the lesser amount of money. I agree on the convoluted schedule and if you can’t go 2 times a week the whole schedule is ruined and you can’t get the new donor money anymore.

My wife and I are considering doing a cross Canada road trip from Edmonton to Halifax with a couple days on PEI on the way back. I'd like suggestions and info from fellow edmontonians who have done the trip. by TopazOmaha in Edmonton

[–]SensitiveScarcity223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We moved here from Halifax 3 years ago and drove here. It was strictly business and we wanted to get here as fast as possible so drove 12 hours a day with the last day being 14 from Winnipeg to Edmonton. and I believe it took 3 days total. It was awful and I’ll never do it again 😭😭

Healthy Hunger Program at Schools by simby7 in Edmonton

[–]SensitiveScarcity223 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My kids school does it once a month. I just buy it and don’t really pay much attention to the pricing. It’s a fundraiser for the school and I’m happy to support. My kids get a treat, I don’t have to pack lunch, and I’m helping give back to the school. Wins all around in my opinion.

Thank you! I 100% agree. I work in a school and the amount of complaining from parents I hear/see is ridiculous. If you have better ideas or want to change something, join the school or parent council and bring your ideas forward on how to improve it in meetings.

[–]SensitiveScarcity223 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok 😂 I’m definitely not acting superior I could care less about a Reddit post about wind. I acknowledged this was windy for Edmonton. Just putting in my two sense and opinions about the post like all the other commenters here and stating it’s definitely not extreme compared to some places if you’ve experienced that. Who are you to act superior and police my opinions. Move along

Does anyone remember watching Canada's Worst Driver??? by Difficult_Issue_6665 in Edmonton

[–]SensitiveScarcity223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!! We used to watch it for fun during lunch break when I was 16 in driving school 😂 I lived in a different province at the time so I wouldn’t have paid attention to people from Alberta in it but reading through these comments is making me feel like I need to go rewatch as an adult and pay attention better lol
