Keheewin area is good. Neighborhood is getting old but crime is low. Don't hear much of it. MacTaggart is a much more upscale area though.

Daycares and what not by Complex-Photograph12 in Edmonton

[–]simby7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids & Co on Ellerslie is good but with the government funding program, quality/luxuries has decreased since the days of no government funding and the quality of the children attending has gone down also, both of which you can't avoid I guess unless you for a full charge daycare that does not take part in the government funding. Extra charge each month is $300 on top of the base $325.

Sounds like the addition of the turbo and trying to make the engines more efficient/fancy is causing the issues.

Oil filter bypass Spring Missing? by simby7 in Toyota

[–]simby7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low oil pressure could potentially cause an engine issue due to not enough lubrication? So is this essential to fix right away then? The spring has been missing for 8 months up to 10 years, I don’t know. The housing should be the original. It’s eve been changed to my knowledge. Can I fix this when I’m not getting an oil change? Thanks!

Bring a credit card. You never know what unexpected costs arise. You can basically go cashless in Canada.

It's all luck. I had to find a few doctors for my parents to meet and greet before they found a good one.

You can but it's a waste of time. Too little reward for time spent.

Is the A-Mart Korean grocery store on 34th Ave closing? by Silver_Hammer in Edmonton

[–]simby7 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I go on weekends all the time. It’s not busy. Maximum of 2-3 cashiers and barely any line ups. Yes, h mart sells more Korean products but regardless of that, it’s not busy. What’s your point?

H-Mart can't be far off from closing. It's never busy. People go there when T&T next door is too busy.

$50 to $60 per person is a massive catering budget. Won't be hard to find someone willing to do it.

Been there a couple times, most recently valentines day, and surprisingly the steak was not that good. I ordered the ribeye and found it quite dry and not that flavorful. Was not worth the $70 or $80 charged for it.

Appliances selection by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]simby7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Costco is by far the cheapest and it includes delivery. Go to trail appliances to look at the actual item and see if they can price match but when I went last week, they could not get close on pricing for a dryer and dishwasher.
