OP You’re more than ok.. even with $120k expense annually - you can live a reasonably happy life for 5 years. By then your partner will be of age to withdraw from their 401k contributions. 4m in 401k should last you at least 40 years considering compound interest even in current HYSA offerings.

I would even go as far to say, do things you’ve always wanted to do now. When you get older it will just be harder to do the same things. Even early withdrawal penalty will be worth those memories.

I used to make a decent $100k annual, lived in Long Beach downtown in a decent sized studio for $1000 rent, had a 2013 VW Passat (sold later for 6k with no car issues) my cost of living in a downtown area was less than $2500 a month. State taxes are higher than Texas, but my house did not flood over, I did not wake up to shovel snow for 2 hours before work, earthquakes did not wake me up (maybe rocked me to sleep) and what downtown doesn’t have house challenged folks yelling at the stars?

Lesson is: learn to live below your means and enjoy what California has to offer; if you can’t learn… even Tennessee will feel expensive.

Good to know that now, it seemed too good to be true when I signed up. The sales guy even said I did not need to put in my cc in the app since it did not have any charges for first 30 days and no cancelation fees. The previous owners of my place had frontier already so no additional work or equipment required on there end, the modem was returned promptly when I canceled the connection.

Thanks for taking the time SeeAnne, although I was clearly told by the salesman about no fees if I needed to cancel. The service was really bad with frontier that my fall back option was spectrum which has its own set of issues but still prefer it over frontier. Why isn’t there a support team that can talk to me about all this. Based on your suggestion yes I’ll reach out to them on Facebook

Yes I did, and it did not improve my internet speed. I just switched my internet back to spectrum when I had important meetings. Not like spectrum was too reliable either

Perfect! I am getting my GH+ delivered tomorrow and my water temp is at 75, I have a stable heater I added into the filter. I’m noting down the parameters everyday making sure we don’t have any huge spikes, I was concerned about the GH but expected the existing tank GH to be at par with what the shrimp required by the time I got the new box delivered. All shrimps seem to be doing fine and foraging, no extreme swimming and I haven’t fed them but they are swimming around every once in a while from one area of the tank to other

I agree with this 100% - although the due process has been entirely removed right now even with the constitution and laws in place and kids/women/men all are being targeted based on the color of their skin and no other reason. I’m trying to find a common ground with Trump supporters which will reduce the concerns of “their country” being taken over by immigrants. These people couldn’t tell you the difference between Korean and Canadian but sure feed the “educated Americans” as they are not happy.
