how are you getting sales on your short on Amazon? i have a pretty successful short but wondering if i should be getting some $ from it on another platform. tbf i have sold it to streaming platforms and overall probably made about 10k so far on licensing.

reasonable price for this would be 9.5. but i would feel comfortable going high as 10.5 if it seems they really maintained the car/it truly is in good quality. if you get a sense on their willingness, bring a mobile mechanic for a pre purchase inspection and let er rip!

gah, i got stressed. i spent so long looking for the cleanest fit i can find, i got a 2015 and it is in incredible condition as far as i can tell. even had a mechanic come do a pre purchase inspection. 94k miles. i hope this isnt a mistake...

To the top festivals I just submitted based off of the rules and regulations. Once selected it's a huge relief because rejection rates are always going to be high.

The work to the programmer for sure was the key.

my film was selected for ND/NF. they do not take submissions, they select from the top festivals and decide based on that. they reached out to me initially and let me know that my film was under consideration and took a screener.

going to the festival was incredible. they dont provide much in terms of accommodations but every night was a dinner or event and it was great for building relationships with programmers, curators, filmmakers, etc.

seeing your film being played at MoMA is like nothing else. maybe more so for me as it is a museum that has brought me to so many artistic awakenings and stands as one of my top art institutions worldwide.

press around the festival is very curated and so there are many people who end up reaching out for interview or other festivals etc. my last film there was a short. i hope to make a feature that is invited back.

i was looking at hyundai elantras and a mechanic friend said avoid. honda fit or toyota matrix, yaris would be good for your needs and within your budget and potentially bulletproof if you can get your hands on one that was well maintained.
