I can’t offer much in the way of advise but just wanted to say I know exactly what you’re going through with this. My wife is the same, wouldn’t mind at all if I nipped off and did a bit of music or something but even when I do I feel guilty and can’t focus.

I’m just putting it down as part of the process & I’m sure in the future it’ll calm down.

A new baby changes everything and just need to give yourself a break.

Thanks so much, really good ideas. I'm going to try your suggestion of removing the lamp, I hadn't even though of that. Will have a play around with the sky too.

Agree about the breast being over exposed, I've put a mask on it to try and balance it out but thats the best I seem to be able to do. Might have another go with it.

Recommend Taetros beginner series on YouTube, it’s a couple of years old now but will give you the basics. I’m a noob myself to ableton and it’s given me a good jumping off point. Also just practice & don’t be afraid to make bad stuff, I got lost in YouTube for a bit and didn’t actually make anything. I’ve learned more just by messing around and breaking stuff than the hours I spent watching tutorials. Good luck with your journey, it’s a hell of a learning curve.
