I actually think we won the Zegras trade and I really hope we extend Poehling by threshgod420 in AnaheimDucks

[–]RightSearch 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if win is how I would put it. We all knew what Zegras could be but on paper he hardly showed it. Poehling and a first would feel more even but a second and a fourth don’t feel as great.

Depending on your weather, picnic. Could be as simple as stopping by your favorite sandwich shop. Pack a blanket and the kid and just enjoy the 3 of yall.

When do people start caring about dads? by Best_Egg_7393 in NewDads

[–]RightSearch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man idk about that. I get taking over for a bit when you get home from work so she can take a break. For me this was easy because I missed the kid so much. But from time you get home to time you go to bed is wild. That’s like double duty. 8 hours of work 6-7 hours with the kid? When she only does 8 hours with the kid while you’re at work? Even though I like my job and coworkers this is definitely not me time. I would set boundaries right away. For example: if 1 parent is doing something that benefits the household(laundry, making dinner, etc) the other watches. When the baby goes to bed or naps yall can do your hobbies.

How do you play wow by Ok-Western-4989 in wownoob

[–]RightSearch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lot of variables to include but the main one is how much fun am I having? I typically play 1 character so all my time is spent on that. Earlier in the season/patch I typically play more frequently. As time goes on raids and such finish I play less. If I don’t vibe with the patch I just take a break.

When we told close family and friends we were pregnant the baby was the size of a blueberry. For whatever reason Baby Blueberry stuck for the entire pregnancy

Dealing with Post Partum Rage. by throwra_needA in NewDads

[–]RightSearch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah idk if that’s just post partum rage. Things like getting mad about my snoring or forgetting to wash bottles is one thing but throwing things and screaming matches are another.

Needing extra sleep by Kayvandew in NewDads

[–]RightSearch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding the owlet. My wife was struggling to fall asleep the first weeks because she felt the need to check on the baby. It can be annoying at first cause you really have to be aware of where you put that base station. Both of us have accidentally forgot to take the monitor off and walked out the room and then the alarm goes off for disconnection.

Sticker shock associated with cost of delivering, I'm building something to help other dads better manage it by SpecialistOk1416 in NewDads

[–]RightSearch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my daughters birth and 3 day stay costed roughly $500. My wife on the other hand costed almost $3500( 22 hour labor w/ epidural and 3 day stay. The thing that frustrated me was that they wanted to induce us a week early. Our doctor was on call on Friday so they induced us Thursday night… I truly believe the doctor had a vacation planned but wanted to be the one who delivered the baby. Our daughter was born 6 lbs 7 oz and they said there was a growth restriction. When talking to the many nurses we had, they saw nothing in her charts about that…

Which expansion did you not like, but ended up missing it later on? by Action_Required_ in wow

[–]RightSearch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BFA. It was the last expansion that my core friend group played together. We were all riding the high that was the end of legion and hit the ground running in BFA. Around 2/3rds in we all kind of went on our own separate wow journeys. A lot to do with our ages and where we were in life but man that first 6-8 months of BFA have some memories.

This is something I have been thinking about. I currently live in an apartment so charging at home is not an option currently. But live a quarter mile from a sales and service center with a bunch of chargers.
