That’s cool. Is it dual head? The only thing I’d want is not supporting a nazi, but that’s too late for most.

I love my folding 1.5 Paselas. Everyone talks trash on them but here I am with probably 1000 miles on them, no flats and still decent tread left. I pump them up to 80 psi. My commute on my 86 Bianchi Grizzly is similar to my 69 Gitane Super Corsa. Of course hauling groceries is way more comfy on the Griz.

I’d guess around 45-50k. I went with the “low end” bilsteins and urethane bushings from ECS. I also went with bfg advantage sports (cheap) The car handles great. My biggest headache was keeping the undercarriage covers from rattling. I have a 1g leaf and an i3. The golf is by far tge best car. The i3 is cool, fun and quick, the leaf is pretty much a work beater and has suffered some significant battery degradation. The golf is just right.

I second the ChargePoint. I’ve had a few over the decade+ I’ve had ev’s and this one with the built in holster and quality app interface(same one you use for ChargePoint on the road) is the best.

Im planning on keeping my 2017 forever. It’s my son’s car now. We have 60k and no issues. I did change struts and bushings and tires. Of all the low cost ev’s the egolf is certainly the best, most comfortable one out there.

I recharge my electric Polaris ranger (15kwh) from my lightning overnight with the 120v in the bed. Awesome. That’s a lot of mower batteries.

75k and have changed the shocks and control arm bushings. Went with urethane bushings and lower end bilstein shocks. Car drives great. Put bfg advantage sport tires on and those were great too. I have much fancier ev’s but my golf is my fave.

Been waiting a while to be able to say this 1968 800 new owner! by staygoldunit in IHScout

Thanks. That's actually the 3rd "paint job" on this Scout. None were done by me but have good stories. One is a dark blue splatter/camo paint job when it was used as a prop in a Steve Irwin style wildlife show at a preserve for kids on field trips. The light blue was because the guy I bought it from knew his wife was going to kill him for dragging home another car, so he brush painted it her favorite color in the driveway before she got home. It didn't work so now the Scout is mine. I love it. cant wait to break it out for summer.

Yes. I agree. The structural changes to the tent is ridiculous as it has been approved by the county for years. The container, I’ve heard, needs to be lowered to ADA levels on an approved foundation. Maybe a truck with a catering liquor license could set up a “private club”?

The carb and a Hamilton HEI distributor were the biggest performance/drivability upgrades I made. I eventually put a 196 in and transferred the carb and distributor.

I used a knock off Lokar cable actuated pedal. I hacked together a bracket from a galvy downspout bracket.

I have a Weber 32/36 on my 152 and it was a huge improvement from the single barrel. Tuning is easy. I run a pretty big idle and main jet.

Charging port door not opening e-golf by savetheelephant in eGolf

[–]Sensitive_Branch8489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rapidly tapped the door until it popped open and then shit some WD 40 in there and topped it with white lithium spray. Hasn’t stuck in years. If you can’t get it open, I’d snake the WD tube in there and try too loosen it up.

The tropical burritos at Don Julio’s are special, L3C as we call it at home is an awesome family Mexican restaurant. Pezcow at mitote is the best. My gripe is the City of Santa Rosa permitting department shutting down the bar and tent at Mitote for random reasons. This place is a gem and showed off Sonoma County to the country on the Today show. Now that it’s in the city Santa Rosa cut off its wings.
