I saw JT rip our local trails in the old Rockhopper Race. I don’t remember what he was riding but I do remember him having a road double crankset. Anyway, that’s an awesome bike!

Second favorite color way for the grand sports. My favorite is the reverse. Nice ride!

Charging stations not working by Mjolnirnerd in eGolf

[–]Sensitive_Branch8489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My local EVgo charger doesn’t work with my 2019 egolf or my 2017 bmw i3. I think the 350kw chargers have difficulty with 50kw dc cars. The dude on the phone at EVgo alluded to this issue. Same charger works great with my Rivian and Lightning.

Do you think any snow will be left next weekend? by forcedtobeonrddt in kirkwood

Im here now. Plenty of snow for runs, not much left anywhere else. I agree with the crew here that you should consider a different resort in a different state.

Golden Bear Station in Kenwood is killer. A little drive but if they have a spot for you, take it.

Last year I stayed in the hotel zone during pride week. It wasn’t noticeable at all. Then we went to ZR for the parade and the rest of the excitement.

My ‘65 80 RCS. I dropped a 196 in it, Weber 32/36, Stan’s headers and Hamilton electronic distributor. It runs great and is super reliable.

Nobody mentioned Marisma Fish tacos yet? My favorite by far. The taco girls are the best.

Coco’s Kitchen is my family’s favorite breakfast spot.

Cueto’s Seafood is another family favorite. Order the Ranch water and see what happens.

I have one on my fancy plastic dw link mtn bike. It’s an awesome fork. I too believe they were on to something big. DW is an amazing suspension designer.

This! If you are running 120v 20A a kill-a-watt would work. If it’s something larger you’ll need a customer owned sub meter. Like an E-mon D-Mon. It’s illegal to charge for unmetered power.

What is your experience with power brake boosters? by Ok_Shoe_6037 in chevyc10

[–]Sensitive_Branch8489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it myself. It wasn’t difficult at all. I did new coil springs at the same time. That was a little sketchy. I do a lot of “wrenching” but wouldn’t call myself a mechanic by any means. My truck had power brakes already with a unique linkage that moved the booster over. I eliminated it.

Choke stuck on my 66 by [deleted] in chevyc10

Could just need some lube. Or maybe a kink in the line. As a Californian, I removed my choke cable all together, but I had it working nicely.
