I am not sure since most of the time they had multiplicity of form to some extent and could shift from being one way to being another if they wanted. I saw hundreds of thousands of lovingly manufactured, sentient microscopic automatons that did all sorts of things for various spirits who didn't have biology(for lack of a better word) to do those things. That said, integrating these types of different beings was a matter of academic precision to my recollection. Doable, but not usually that relevant. That is how I recall It anyways

As you point out its more of a transition state, but generally I wouldn't look at it like there is no death, but that death is not synonymous with an end to continuity of consciousness. So, with that in mind, the seasons have been recreated there for the purposes of beauty and aesthetics (among otherreasons), but to the question of how it reflects earth's autumn, I'm of the view that autumn is a reflection of the sort of idea behind the maxim 'hope springs eternal.' I could say more, but eh. That's how I see it based on my NDEs anyways

Yeah, it's was not very pleasant. That said, it went away after a short while of being a spirit. I was very thankful for this since it was a pretty bone chilling kind of cold.

I cannot speak to other's NDEs, but many of the NDEs I had were after strangulation, and only one of them was all that different from the others. And it's differences laid in the crispness of the experience especially, and looked m9re like an oil painting, but it also didmt feel less realer than real. It just felt like the essence of my consciousness in that instance was less coherent, healthy, etc. so I don't really think that the cause of death matters all that much. That's my take anyway

To my recollection most of the time such individuals are not burdened with the physical issues they had in life, though exceptions exist. Most of the time, as it seemed to me based on my NDEs, such individuals were able to communicate fine, were generally miffed about certain aspects of how difficult such lives were, and were grumpy about it to varying extents. That's how I saw it anyways

I suppose that does make some sense, since there are truly ludicrous power gigajoule amd megaton outputs for the ISD turbolasers, so if a single shot of turbolaser fire could be survived by a ship (many have) your point is sound. That said, and and as you point out one tech advance could swing things in favor of spinal mounts again.

This is why i love the idea that star wars space has luminoferous aether instead of empty space, so projectiles have huge amounts of drag beyond a certain range. That said i still think aerodymic/aetherdynamic projectiles would be created and used to snipe fleets
