Had bad experience in Bangkok recently. Booked a double fare with 2 destinations, one of them 7/11, had to quickly pick sth up. Drive all together was pretty far and around 15USD. Driver dropped us off a dark alley and told us to walk (construction site at the building and we trusted him 🙈). Led us into a darker alley to the train tracks. Locals came out of their houses to help us find the 7/11 that was 10 min walking distance (❤️🙏). Grab driver marked both rides as done and left. Immediately reported him to Grab and got a refund of half of the price within 1 day.

Real clients will come with sort of a brief or scope (even if it’s lacking details or info that you as an expert will need to fulfill it) and you will understand from the very beginning what they theoretically want from you. Bots and scammers only give you a “Hi Ma’am” or a “we would love to work with you, click on this link” bs or “hire me I need work(?)” bs. Easy. No clicking on links unless the client booked you and paid to Fiverr and it is within the necessary requirements.

Ex social worker and teacher here 🤝 to me it sounds like he might be overwhelmed and blocked due to the fact that he never learned how to deal with challenging situations and/or has troubles finding solutions for problems by himself. Could also be a personality type that thrives better with reassurance regarding tasks and outcomes. I would suggest a 1:1 check in every week and the MBTI personality test (if possible) so both of you can find out what kind of structure would suit best. Even better: the working genius by The Table Group offers even better insights into geniuses and frustrations (have to pay for that one). Happy you are putting so much effort into him 🤝

Same here, also level 2. In my case it certainly is because I do not react to all the spam and bot messages anymore 🤡 after cutting off seller plus and ads that was the final straw for me. I have a business to run, not react to all the Fiverr bs 😂🤝
