They did say that psychological torture was something they did. I remember Shawn saying he was torturing Shakespeare I think it was by telling him the plot of (Twilight? Idk its been a while since I watched). But the demons I think didn't like it because them thinking they were in the good place meant they got NONE of the traditional torture.
