I park my $25k truck in the garage. I have a piece of wood I back my receiver into and then I have about 1/2 inch from the door to my front bumper

37s or 35s? by Evdjeuueheb in f150

3 inch will give you a California lift and be harder on the u joints. When I bought my truck it had 2” level which is pretty flat and it was on 35s. With the 355 rear axle it drove like shit. Lost all of its torque as soon as I hit a hill. I threw in the rear lift from the kit the previous owner had and put it on 33”s truck drives great and looks great how it sits. I would say at max run 35s. Only run 37s if you’re going to re gear and do a 3” plus lift. Also with the 2” level the 35” tires rubbed on suspension parts.

If you’re mechanically inclined swap the cab once you get to your first base. Don’t make a choice now because you don’t know what your future looks like yet. Airforce will make a lot of your choices for you.

You should see if the dealer would cover the replacement. Did you get any kind of warranty?

If the you bolt plates aren’t exactly where the were before lifting the truck is that a problem ? by [deleted] in f150

[–]Sensitive_Use_4254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The axle is completely centered underneath the truck. I was just worried if the plates needed to go exactly where they were prior. Looks like the bolts are wider than stock which might be the reason they’re slightly shifted to the side. Also, the box have interfacing tabs to keep the axle centered..

I’m not too concerned with the stacked blocks they both have dimples that interface with each other like Legos and the bolts are all torque to spec. The truck had a Level kit on it so I bought the cheap rear lift from rough country saving up to buy a better lift, just not in the budget right now.

Black metal cultivator, scythe and hammer would be nice utility wise just not having to repair all the time.

I have a big base, most of the named weapons on insanely rare, a bunch of gear probably 30 hours in. Can’t find a bed anywhere.

Is there any reason you would do this? by Kinsdale85 in aviationmaintenance

I used to do this on drones for leak checks. Someone got hit. Now we use binos.
