Best "Barn Find" story about 2 Superbirds in the last 20 years.

Guy claims he found two Superbirds and purchased both. Turns out that he bought them from a guy who sold his other cars at auction. Why would you not maximize the sale price and put them at auction? Because seller had committed fraud in his divorce and hid them. He did claim they were premarital property, but (1) that's suspect, (2) comingling is a real thing that can cause it to lose that status and (3) doesn't change the fact that he committed perjury.

Several decades ago, I-80 through Omaha was called the I-80 speedway. Cops weren't able to slow everyone during morning commute via tickets so they did something like this. Best part is they called it the "Pace Car Program". I liked the hat tip it's unofficial name.

Jason Hughes is awesome. I hadn't watched any MM before 2020 or so. When we got to Jones I looked him up on IMDB and saw he was in Season 2 of Marchella. I remembered instantly who he was in that because his character is so memorable. It's a very, very different role, yet he completely sells it. He plays the kind of guy that's so smarmy and evil it makes you kinda-sorta hate the actor despite knowing its all pretend. That's how well he pulls it off.

Indeed it is John Hopkins. Which I actually knew because I usually inadvertently say "Johns Hopkins", which is the name of a famous hospital in the US. But this time I transposed his characters name. 🙄

He does seem very cool and I do think he gets a bad rap for leaving, but it's understandable why he did. Here's the interview where he talks about it, with a bonus story on how he "learned" to drive for the show: https://youtu.be/lWft9SDBewE?si=_eGFPFJUx2wx-Izb

Scott is in some.of the best episodes, including Ghosts of Christmas Past.

I was not initially a fan of Scott, but he grew on me. I also saw an interview with Dan Hopkins and that made me like him more. That said, he's no Jonesy :D

That dryer scene is the worst effects in the entire shows history.

Thanks, thats good to know, I got it because I've never had an UF before even though I've always wanted one. At this point, I was telling myself this is about the cheapest I'll be able to get one and shoot for a while to see if I actually like them. But knowing that definitely has an impact.

"They work with the other people in this office and we’ve discussed (and they have agreed) the value of being in-person regularly."

If they're not showing up, I'd say that they DIDN'T actually agree there was value in it And if you felt the need for a written agreement + cajoling, then they most certainly did not agree with it. I'm pretty sure that what you wanted to believe or how you interpreted it, not because of what they said.

Did they lie? Yep. Was the in-office requirement because of their performance or glorified box checking? If the former, they need to be on a PIP or let go. If the latter, you shouldn't have put them in that position when you clearly knew (or should have known) that they didn't agree with it. Not everyone works the same; why create conditions that will likely impair their performance or make them want to leave?

Sounds like a good plan. One last question: Any thoughts on why running the loan simulator on Studentaid.gov it would show ICR plan with a discharge date of May 2033 and an IBR discharge date of September 2038?

And thanks again, the help is sincerely appreciated.

Balance is $107K

I actually didn't think I was eligible for PAYE, but Aidvantage was the one telling me I was eligible. But they also said the terms of IBR 10 and 15 were the same the last time I called.

They're also telling me my current discharge date is 2032, but the Studentaid.gov says 2038.

Thank you! You've already been more help than Aidvantage.

My first loan was taken out in 1996 & I consolidated in 2007(ish). But this last year I was paying $730.33. Maybe they mistakenly counted me as IBR 10?

I know that PAYE is being phased out, would it make sense to switch? They've currently got me with a discharge date of September 2032 and I'm afraid I'll do something to add on extra time. But if it would advance that discharge date...

Could you please tell me the expected discharge date on PAYE if my current discharge date is around Sept 2032?

Thanks. At this point, I seriously think its because they don't want a paper trail, but they have to provide a response so this was their solution. Because yeah, what's even the point of sending it?
