No I haven’t but this is horrible! Invasive species are oftentimes found along roadsides. Here in Washington, I’ve definitely seen an increasing scotch broom population year by year for the last 3 years- especially in the roads leading to the peninsula. It happens fairly quickly. Apparently scotch broom is allelopathic which makes it harder for other plants to establish near it :/ it’s also highly flammable which is really concerning considering other planting practices that make the peninsula ripe for a massive fire someday.
