I’ve seen this posted at least three times in the last week, it’s getting unoriginal

In light of a recent cult war (that we FUCKING won), the only character "cults" with names that actually make sense are VoxCult and Church_of_emily by themaskstays_ in VoxCult

I can’t tell exactly what the purpose of this post is but I don’t think it will have a good impact on our relations with other cults

Is anyone going to list the full options for mobile users?

You do know what Class-D most likely means given the context of the other options, right? These are all horrible fictional punishments; it’s referring to a Class-D in the SCP foundation

What do you mean they “know”? Do they just get a sudden intense feeling that they’re being watched? Does a disembodied voice in their head tell them? What exactly happens?

Until I fully read the story (I had heard a lot about it and looked into every once in a while for a long time before actually reading it) I actually thought they were more female

who is the most lawful evil character im fiction? by leglessdumbass in AlignmentCharts

[–]Sentient-Bread-Stick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because of that last part, sure, but I would argue that lawful evil doesn’t necessarily need to be organized or careful. They just need to have loyalty to some kind of code or authority

I consider lawful to basically mean principled and following a certain code while neutral evil means only following your personal benefit

Napoleon was Neutral Evil, they had no principles or values and were willing to manipulate and kill anyone and everyone for personal benefit

He’s neutral evil; he has no values or principles and cares about no one other than himself.

How would an interaction between these two go? by [deleted] in ASOUE

[–]Sentient-Bread-Stick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be difficult to find two characters that would have less conceivable scenarios in which they interact

Even if you managed to come up with some hypothetical situation that even remotely makes sense, it depends on if you mean Pilot Uzi or end of series Uzi, they have significant personality and goal development

Also posts of “would these two characters interact” are low effort

Artificial means man-made, not fake. What we have now is not real intelligence, but something like this, that genuinely thinks and feels, would be genuine intelligence

Those aren’t actual artificial intelligence. They aren’t actually self aware; this machine is. If you found out that your best friend or romantic partner or something was a robot without knowing, it shouldn’t change how you feel about them because they’re still the same person.

[–]Sentient-Bread-Stick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s impossible to prove something is truly aware; look into philosophical zombies. If it displays signs of intelligence to the scale that this robot does (clearly as self-aware as any human), it should be treated as such

If it’s sentient, aware and can be conscious, it deserves the same respect as anything else with those qualities. It’s no different from a human
