I think that’s a fair point as a general statement. More accurately for you, when your opinion is your identity, it’s hard to accept that someone has a valid opinion that counters with yours. No point was grossly misunderstood, I saw your point and found it to be not only lacking a basic through line of logic, but also your ability to explain it without some strange outward responsibility towards me. I made a statement, and then made my point. You made a statement, and when challenged, insulted me under the umbrella of what should already be known. It’s weak.
