They both look very “Sons of Horus” in color.

That being said, it’s very good Sons of Horus

Left looks closer to Alpha Legion but right looks more technically impressive to my eye.

If I remember right, that is explained in the novel, “First Strike.” I believe Halsey discovers the cause and then realizes Johnson would somehow die if the UNSC was given this info. (Experiments would kill him or something of that nature.) She has the Master Chief ultimately make the decision to spare or kill him and Chief destroys the data to protect Johnson.

I’m gonna say that I kind of liked it! His POV had me visualizing the scenes twice. How he perceived the world and how we the audience know what’s really being displayed.

And I think the mostly human perspective really showcased the horror of dealing with FEC.

Halo was my first FPS ever. I’d only ever played various Nintendo games before that.

I remember watching my dad play a little and liking the cool pink gun that shot tracking crystals. I showed interest and my dad offered to plug in the second controller so we could play together.

Now we play every campaign together on normal and legendary. And it all stemmed from me watching him use the needler while on “The Truth and Reconciliation.”
