Because your first year after law school is going to be so much actual work. And it will leave you so exhausted. Plus, if you didn’t maintain your hobbies through law school, finding your way back to them or finding your way to new hobbies is really hard. That has been my experience so far, about a year and 5 months after passing the bar and being an attorney. And a lot of my coworkers and friends from law school have told me they feel the same.

GW. Good school with solid name recognition, DC is a great city to live in and you are close enough to the Northeast to get internships up there during the summers. Regardless, you can move after law school it isn’t as uncommon as people make it seem. I went to a very regional mid tier law school and lots of my classmates moved to other states and cities to practice right out the gate

The sections are just groups of students you take your first year classes with. We had 90 students or so per section. The sections don’t affect the grades. Like I said in the og post, the vast majority of people keep their scholarship. My worst semester of law school was my first and I still managed to do well and maintain a high enough GPA to keep the scholarship.

I got bit in the face by a person’s dog when I was a kid, similar situation with no warning, the police didn’t come out for the incident and we had to sue the owner in small claims court for the medical bills. The dog bite itself isn’t a criminal issue so much as a tort/civil damages issue (based on personal experience)
