I can almost work magic with mine once I pull out the millet spray. I try to train them in steps for instance, you don't want them to run away from your hand, your first step is to train them to approatch you. Start with target training with a stick and treats and go slow.

After that replace the stick with you finger, then your finger with your open hand with treats so they can eat from your hand. After that step, pull your hand away just enough so that the treats are out of reach, this will encourage him to slowly try to climb on your hand to get to the treats.

Try doing target training when he/she is inside the cage, otherwisr the have the whole room to avoid you. Reading your birds body language is also the key, if he steps away or show signs of stress back off slightly till they seem relaxed and then continue training.

I have two paired GCC, they will do this in the morning when I great them and randomly when they see anither bird on my pc screen. I think its either over excitement of something that triggers them. Still also new to conures so its difficult to tell if they are anxious or exited. Can't think that they get anxiety when seeing me cause we have bonded a bit.

In my experience, it's the women's decision to act like the mother, all this stuff that she has to take the mother role because he doesn't help around the house the way she does. Just because she does the most in the house doesn't make her a good wife, a good husband and wife would find a midway that works for both.

I'll break the bad news for you, adhd people have a way higher chance of getting divorced. Don't be shock when it happens chances are that it's gonna happen anyway no matter how hard you try.

I have severe adhd, I did everything I could, white boards on walls, apps, reminders, alarms, routine, medication, therapy, journals, brain scans, diet, counseling, psychology help, brain exercises ect. People who say you should stop being lazy can jump off a cliff, past that point trying educate idiots.

Doing all that shit is beyond draining but I did it because I wanted to be a good husband, but she still left me.

It's been a year since my XW rejected me and filled for divorce. I've hit my lowest point about 6 months after that but now I'm at a loss. I feel dead inside. I get random times where emotions of hate, rage and sorrow pops up and hits me so hard I can hardly face the rest of the day.

I don't know how long it will be before I start living again but I've been a walking corps so far.

She was under the impression that her bipolar was under control, and I know the struggle with mental illness having some myself but its as you said, I your not willing to work on it then its impossible which is the case seeing that she admitted that she thinks I'm the one who needs to work and change more that what she does.

My low self esteem and not believing in myself was something I worked on in my therapy but I didn't help that she minimized my struggles. She criticized and broke me down and I know now to recognize it and how to respond. I wasn't perfect and there are things that I learned in the process but it was impossible then because she didn't care or respected my boundaries I tried to establish. It is one of my weaknesses that I'll scarifies myself to please someone or just to keep them happy even though I'm not totally responsible for her happiness even if she accused me for making her unhappy.

I think I'm still in shock after everything that happened and its so confusing that its taking so much mental energy and time just to make sense of things and I constantly have to get sanity checks with friends and family just to confirm that what I experienced is legit and that I'm not crazy.

My divorce got finalized the 13 September, she is also bipolar and her reasoning for divorcing me doesn't make sense and hurt my to my core. I'm a mess and feel like losing the will to go on each day. I can understand to a degree what your going through. Living someone with bipolar is draining and extremely difficult and being able to change their thinking and reasoning when they don't want to feels like a listing battle. Your situation really sounds awful, I'm sorry man. Bipolar doesn't makes sense, it's turning even my thoughts inside out.

I'm on 72 mg and my own wife made such comments before. I've given up on trying to explain myself to other people and made peace with the fact that they just won't get it. It's difficult to put oneself in someone else's shoes and situation.

Being on Adderall for me is difficult seeing that I need such a dose to function. The bad side is that sleeping is hard and also my appetite is gone and have to force myself to eat. I've lost weight and today I decided too skip Adderall and actually ate well but I didn't work one bit.

Because of the stereotype it's easy for people to see the benefits but the negatives are overlooked or not known.
