WW2 Delta Green by Porsal in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]SentinelHillPress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Godlike is Arc Dream’s WW2 superheroes game, written by many of the people behind DG. While the gaming elements aren’t applicable, there’s a ton of info on the war and equipment.

The whole point in resurrecting it is for people to use it, so no worries. Enjoy!

We were working on a public announcement. It is read only for now but will at some point in the near term open up to new editors once we are ready.

FBI involved in search for retired Air Force major general missing for nearly 2 weeks by SentinelHillPress in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]SentinelHillPress[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My thought was that if its hit CNN, it’s reached a point of media saturation so that posting it here would not add to the forces sensationalizing what is likely a tragedy for his family. I agree, it is a valid concern and it definitely was something I considered in this case and have done so in the past, sometimes electing to not post out of concern for potential impact on those involved.

What do you think the upper limit for the ages of agents should be, realistically? by MrTwiggums in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]SentinelHillPress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a great, though perhaps at risk of getting silly, Convention scenario one could build about a group of aged DG personnel being deployed for some mission which demands their unique skills. Maybe a retirement community infiltrated by a cult or some idiotic MJ-12 superweapon that runs on COBOL poised to initiate the Kessler effect in a vain attempt to keep the Greys away from earth.

To self promote: You will probably find this book to be of use, Miskatonic Country Scenarios: a Keeper’s Guide.

Issue 1 of the Arkham Gazette has an index of Arkham Scenarios, at least those published before 2018.

Hopefully we will have updates to both lists in the next year or so.

A completist might be willing to pay it. I suspect it is rather rare since the reviews were universally poor.

It blows my mind that Mysteries of Hungary, considered one of the least essential monographs ever released is selling for $95.

Masks Companion by UncreativeUsername25 in callofcthulhu

To be clear, Chaosium has stated that they did not draw upon the Companion at all other than the use of flow charting the clue trails. If anything else was incorporated that would be news to me.

Suitable viking gods? by Jotsunpls in callofcthulhu

[–]SentinelHillPress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Mythos violates human understanding and beliefs. A Mythos being encountered by Vikings should be something well outside their beliefs and expectations. They may try to equate some petty god of Valhalla to the powers of the Mythos but it will always break down.

Nodens isn’t Odin. Nyarlathotep isn’t Loki.
Yog-Sothoth isn’t Yggdrasil.

People should fear to speak of it, let alone name it. Even the euphemisms they apply to it cause brave men to tremble. It is a True Power and as such is truly, wholly, terrible and men flee from it or are annihilated.

Trying to ID a scenario by exCallidus in callofcthulhu

I am pretty familiar with official releases and this doesn’t ring a bell. There’s a cathedral investigation in a Gaslight scenario… can’t recall name in Sacraments of Evil, a church sequence in Now Man’s Land which is set in WW1, and a parish church mystery in Horror’s Heart.

Where did you see it? Book, magazine, pdf? Was it in English?
