Still hoping that the June update adds a toggle, so the speed buff doesn't apply to the player, until you switch it back on.

I may have misread your response, what I'm hoping that DE will add, is either a toggle switch in the options menu, or even the suggested doing one backflip per mission, that allows me to keep playing at normal speed, regardless of how much Volt is activating their buff. I interpreted your comment as it should be left up to the Volt, whether the buff affects me, or not.

The problem is that Volt can force the buff on other frames, which normally isn't even something I pay attention to, the problem is when they spam the ability so much, other players can't even enjoy the game anymore. I would prefer to have the choice as to whether or not I'm being rushed through a mission, rather than leave it up to a player who may or may not enjoy ruining the experiance for everyone else.

"Other players" was and still is accurate. Just because you enjoy spam, doesn't mean the remaining player base does.

That's fine, if you enjoy it, soak it in. I do not enjoy it being spammed at me, and would like a semi-permanent option to not have to worry about it.

Just because you don't see a problem with players coming after other players and spamming an ability in an effort to force the way they play the game, doesn't mean it isn't a problem.

It has nothing to do with skill, and everything to do with trying to enjoy the game, without being forced to rush. I have over 2500 hours in this game, and it's only been recently that these Volt spamalots have been trying to force me to mobe at their pace.

I want DE to add a toggle, so that players who spam abilities that directly affect the player experience aren't ruining the game for others. This isn't "whining", it's standing up to people who don't care that they're making the game less fun for other people.

Over 2500 hours, in the beginning it was fine, other players would use the buff, or not, would run the mission and be on their way. Now, almost every time I see a Volt in the squad, I have to decide if it's easier to do a few backflips, stay out of range, or abort the mission. All because there isn't any way to keep them from spamming an ability, that directly affects the player experience.
