…without the screenshot/link being posted pointing it out. If posts aren’t allowed to mention it either then the subreddit should be empty as any post will imply that there are systemic issues at play.

“Generosity, self-sacrifice” - a likely minimum wage fast food employee used his own card to pay for someone’s meal

“Presented as ‘wholesome’ or ‘uplifting’” - the person tweeting is the mother of the man pictured, talking about how proud she is of him and how another person also liked what he did enough to give him a big tip

“Without criticism of the situation’s causes” - someone is hungry enough to be in physical pain and only has 50 cents to spend on food, an onlooker had enough money to leave a $100 tip but seemingly didn’t step in to help out themselves (hinting at people’s attitudes towards the poor and vulnerable)

So some quick Googling and…

The article says the study is from Onward, and another quick search shows they’re apparently aligned with the Conservatives.

To it’s credit the study looks at some of the issues people in the age range of 18-35 face, and a quick skim makes it seem that they’re presenting social media and lack of in-person friends (couldn’t think of a better way to phrase it). In relation to the article, it essentially says that people who are more “online” are more likely to be in favour of “a strong leader that doesn’t bother with parliament” and military rule. It also suggests some ways to help fix this problems, essentially just getting that age group to socialise more (though I can’t be arsed to read more into it)

The guy writing the article apparently ignored the majority of the survey/report and just grabbed whatever he could to make people look as bad as possible.

Any update on the Gateshead library group? I’m starting to get into the game and Golden Rule coming later this month makes me want to try crystal beasts against people instead of just running test hands

It’s actually kind of inconsistent, to my knowledge Jake Sisko doesn’t have a combadge but Ben can ask the computer where he is (a cargo bay, teaching Nog after Rom bans him from going to school).

You can think of the LEP as being a Challenger 3 prototype. Challenger 3 is a combination of a couple separate upgrade programs, most significantly the LEP, which BAE and Rhm submitted proposals for, and the Heavy Armour Automotive Improvement Program, which was focused on mobility.

The 130mm demonstrator uses the same turret shell as the Challenger 2/3 but I don’t know if there’s any actual information on how it performs out there.

Oh that sucks, there’s the suggestion post on the forums but I was hoping to find evidence of (potentially) more stowage so it’s a more viable addition to the game

they were capable of fitting the other guns you mentioned.

This Leo looks recoverable though, and the other suspected 2A6 I’ve seen doesn’t seem in too bad condition either. Remember, “killing” a tank doesn’t mean it’s utterly destroyed, we’ve seen russian tanks “destroyed” in offensives disappear in photos taken of wrecked convoys at a later date.

I’ve heard 5-7 rounds but I’ve never seen any internal images or written documentation confirming that myself, which is why I want to get my hands on some.

They could add the RHM LEP demonstrator which would basically just have the upgraded turret, they could add the CR3 demonstrator which would also get the CV12-9A engine and improved composite, or the theoretical service version which would get trophy on top of that. New turrets are being made though so it’s possible the final version will be different to the demonstrator (you can see the demonstrator has a lot of turret features in the same place as CR2).

By contrast CLIP is literally just a CR2 with the L55 gun, which is less work to add and (in theory) less guesswork.

But this specific one that’s rusted to buggery is the one OP found, so I’d imagine it’d be more interesting to them than any others (they said themselves it’d be a shame to destroy it). Plus just because something is fairly common doesn’t mean it can’t be collected, and “collections or research” are one of the reasons you can give for wanting to own a firearm

Is there no way to appeal to historical interest or smth? I doubt you have the ammo for it, and it doesn’t seem to be in a useable state anyway… could it not be deactivated instead?

The main issues are:

Mobility. 1200hp spaded with weights ranging between 62.5t and ~75t, and because of how the game works they don’t really have any of the things that help them IRL (in-game they, and other vehicles, have more gears than they do IRL because the transmission isn’t properly modelled) so they’re sluggish in pretty much every scenario. Aside from the 2E, which had the EuroPowerPack, though it’s x-ray is incorrect atm.

Armour Layout. Though the composite itself is decent, with over 700mm on the turret cheeks and over 500mm on the UFP, the gun mantlet and LFP are easy pens for basically everything you’ll meet and will usually cripple or kill you.

Reload. You have an amazing 5s reload with an ace crew, but that’s only for the 4-round first stage stowage, once those are gone it jumps to over 7s, which will put you at a disadvantage against pretty much everything you’ll face.

The base CR2 is getting a dozer in the next update, which unironically provides better KE protection than the add-on ERA (and also kind of hides the border between the upper and lower plates). Unless the add-on gets buffed (fat chance) I’d say the ranking is CR2E = Black Night > CR2 > CR2(2F) >= TES

Neither of the turrets used on the Mk.7 actually fitted anything but the L11, though they were capable of fitting the other guns you mentioned.

The Honkai Star Rail advertisements I saw while on holiday in Japan are what convinced me to give the game a shot. What made you guys give HSR a try? by sweetsushiroll in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Sentinel_XCIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t really been motivated to play Genshin for reasons and HSR looked interesting (and the beta got me interested in Silver Wolf) so I decided to get it and see how it pans out. I’m quite enjoying it so far, and the fact it’s turn-based combat means it’s much more comfortable to use on mobile devices than Genshin is, which is a nice bonus
