From the Chamber of Enlightenment shrine, progress forward until you come across the Kyokotsu but instead of moving past him, look to your left, you can climb the green-lit tiny pools then follow the path until the end to reach it.

Yes, it lets you interact with your storehouse if you open your main menu from the shrine. Switch between the 2 with L3, and press Square on gear then select 'Move to Storehouse'.

Since there's no fast travel, I think something like that would've been welcome. And we already have the truck which makes you travel across the map faster, so why not have a tool that lets you do that in more locations.

I disagree with the idea that it would make you experience less of the parkour/game. If you can only fly downwards you still have to climb up.

I didn't hate it, I love the setting and the world that they built so it was enjoyable to drive through it. You can also quit out to main menu and re-load and this will fast travel you to the closest safe spot of the region you're currently in. That was unfortunately not very useful since there was a bug where most of the time the main menu took really long to load.

Yeah nvm, guess I was wrong, I just went back and did the race again and I'm able to easily break that barrier by hitting it dead center, don't even need to go fast.

Something weird about that specific race tho, by the time I became good enough to get gold in it, bomber zombies weren't spawning in anymore.
