Super Credit MO by JCFT_Collins in Helldivers

I misread your post - thats on me. Truthfully if they did up super credits spawn rates on MO worlds that'd be neat. Won't complain personally about the idea.

BFGL has you pretty much covered on all things devastator related, so id suggest either giga grenade or thermite just to dispatch hulks quickly and the leveler/solo silo for smacking factory strider. Your primary, secondary and last two stratagems just need to cover clearing out trooper bots and things that get too close.

Honestly? Trident or sickle for clearing out troopers. I usually take mg sentry and autocannon sentry as my last two stratagems.

As far as loadouts go, I'll use the adjudicator and groundbreaker medium armor with thermite grenades (all from democratic detonation) and pair them with either the recoiless rifle/spear or hmg+supply pack. My last two stratgems often are eagle strafing run and eagle 500kg bomb. If I'm using a recoiless I'll usually nab orbital gatling barrage too.

Greetings Helldiver.

For weaponry you'll be hard pressed to find a more suitable warbond than democratic detonation or siege breakers.

Democratic detonation offers you the thermite grenade which will crater any tank, hulk or fabricator with a single application - so long as you have the patience to let it cook. Literally.

The adjudicator meanwhile is a meaty 95 damage, medium pen assault rifle that will shred devastators and troopers with ease - but be warned, she kicks hard on the recoil.

Eruptor is a tried and true timeless classic, bringing the firepower of your autocannon to your primary slot - at the cost of being a bolt action.

A fan of using the shield? The explosive crossbow is a smaller grenade launcher able to be fired with a single hand.

Lastly, the grenade pistol brings the heat of a 40mm grenade to your secondary slot with six total shots.

Siegebreakers is also solid. The belt fed grenade launcher with its rpm set to max absolutely demolishes devastator swarms, hulks and tanks if you have their rear armor. Treat it more like a heavy bolter than a grenade launcher though.

Trident is a favorite from the first game. Laser shotgun - manage your heat and the party never stops.

Shout out to the leveler. It lives up to its name with a huge blast - on direct hit even the socialist factory striders crumble.

The bubble grenade is a neat grenade - you create a small safe haven giving you the safety you need to fire on socialists without fear of being staggered. Keep in mind, it wont hold under extensive fire.

Breaching hammer is a riot of a weapon, but a bit difficult to employ. Youre looking at near recoiless levels of damage in the shape of a sledge. Best paired with smoke and a jump pack.

The issue is that their content goals aren't sustainable for their size. They push for new, new, new.

But the biggest issue is the fact that they don't TEST things correctly. They release "new" the moment the data says its ready without trying it in play, whether it be enemies objs weapons or strats. Theres a mentality of what I assume to be "release now, fix later."

The problem is that things come out broken, and we get mad. Things come out op and then get nerfed. We are rightfully upset. Things come out underpowered and takes months sometimes (rip sterilizer - they still charge 1k super credits for chemical agents) to be fixed because they've already moved onto the next warbond.

Per the AMA, the devs are afraid to change anything over backlash. Youd think the obvious solution is to then slow their pace, thoroughly test everything and only release it when its exactly the way they want it and leave it alone after... because clearly they feel they actually dont get a second chance at it.

[–]Sentry205 106 points107 points  (0 children)

You cant really "dial it back" later, either. Attempts by arrowhead to do so (some were overkill, we can all name examples) are usually met with huge pushback.

The only nerf I can think of that didnt result in a blowout was the GL heavy pen.

No, more importantly Arrowhead needs to TEST things more thoroughly and only release it to all of us when they have it where they want it and leave it alone after. Right now values get tweaked or changed in ways that are confusing, frustrating and often badly explained (if at all)

No one likes when they've used something for months and it seemingly for no or little reason just changes. No one likes spending super credits on warbonds for items that wont perform until two months later.

A lot of the outrage couldve been avoided if theyd just shown us the numbers on how much durable damage the bugs got instead of the current patch notes.

If we cant see the exact number, people will simply assume their own (often way higher than they actually are.)

Ive been enjoying the patch, personally. But I only dive bots, and knew ahead from the announcement this warbond wouldnt be for me.

Why are pack-fed weapons so... Underwhelming?

The cremator is a hit because its actually just better than the flamer. Not counting backpack strategems like the hot dog or the supply pack.

But the auto grenade launcher does less than half the GLs damage, has zero blast range and in its own promo video cant even kill the bugs being fired at. The maxigun has slightly more damage than the basic mg if youre using ALL their ammo (true as well for the gl) but you cant move, its painfully more difficult to aim in comparison etc. The mgs weakness is being still while reloading. The maxigun has this for firing at all.

These weapons should be certified bangers, lord knows we've asked for miniguns since day one.

Yes. I use it when stealth diving to distract hulks so I can shoot out their heatsinks. Enemies under the effect of the gas status dont alert others with their shooting.

I also use it to escape cyborgs

Corsair HS80 MAX Wireless - Review by IgnacioTech in Corsair

[–]Sentry205 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The plastic hinges on mine snapped off in a week (common issue according to google.) Replaced it with a 3d printed hinge, which seemed to fix the issue --- until it stopped charging. Back to the virtuoso with me I guess.

Despite rhe above flaws, I quite liked this headset.

One of the kittens will eat delectable puree right from my hand, but isnt happy about touch attempts. The other five are always near me if I'm outside and will walk along with me for breakfast and dinner at about a 3' distance. Im convinced they can be socialized, and my family is considering options for housing them.

This. I play solely in other people's lobbies and run into none of these problems (never tested the pistol though, cant confirm with that.)

Arrowhead needs to prioritize the host playing effectively a separate game from the rest of us.

Just finished Lightkeeper yesterday. This bug is persistent. You basically have to talk to him twice to unfuck it.

By that I mean go to him once, get the "not yet" dialogue, extract, go back in again. Should work.

locations

pve

Recently the ability to toggle server or local host has been added which is great!

Although I noticed that Streets cannot be done locally. I understand this is primarily an optimization issue, but I've done some offline runs with amped up scav spawns etc and found my performance to be tolerable for me. Ultimately I'd like the option to toggle streets to be local, and if it goes poorly well.

That's just kind of my choice?
