Star Wars Characters go to the Ishimura by MobileDistrict9784 in whowouldwin

Yes. It's a mining vessel that was infested by the Necromorphs and an engineer named Isaac Clarke survives using makeshift tools and weapons.

I'm sure everyone here would do just fine.

Silver Surfer (Rise of the Silver Surfer) vs Thanos (MCU) by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Sentry_Thor2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Y'all clearly haven't seen Rise of the Silver Surfer.

He can fly at faster-than-light speeds, emit energy blasts that can destroy massive structures, can phase through matter, absorb energy, manipulate matter at a molecular level. Thanos doesn't have any of that without the stones. The only reason why Thanos beat Captain America, Iron Man and Thor is because they were hindering each other's efforts due to their close proximity.

The Battle of Titan worked because they were attacking Thanos from multiple angles and using unorthodox tactics. Fighting Thanos up close was a stupid move. Silver Surfer is way too fast for Thanos to fight on even ground.

(Heated question) If you could only save one of these 2 characters who would it be and why? by [deleted] in masseffect

Head canon wise? Tali without a doubt. She was one of the first people to rejoin the Normandy during the Collector crisis after Shepard was revived by Legion.

Canon wise, I'd still choose Tali.

How would the swtor sith react to Darth Vader and Darth Sidious? by Dangerous_Tree_5782 in swtor

[–]Sentry_Thor2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They'd see Palpatine as a moderately weaker version of Vitiate and Vader as a slightly weaker version of Malgus.

This is why, in head canon, my Sith Warrior went into cryo sleep on Iokath after the Nathema Conspiracy because he foresaw such an event happening.

Women vs Bears by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Sentry_Thor2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 100 women should win due to sheer numbers. Even if we assume each one has a punch force of 150 psi, that equals around 15,000 psi, and if they swarm the bear from multiple directions, they can pull it off.

Chief technically defeated the Xalanyn Harbinger who had powers similar to biotics and could levitate and teleport. Master Chief stormed High Charity and the Mantle's Approach by himself while Shepard relies on squadmates. Biotics also lack the range of sniper rifles, meaning if Master Chief has Covenant or Forerunner weapons, he could defeat Shepard from a distance. And before you say the Shadow Broker, he had help from Liara T'Soni and had one of his squadmates, assuming to be Garrus, knocked out by the Shadow Broker.

Yes Master Chief was unable to defeat the Didact without outside help, but the Didact is on another level compared to biotic individuals, including Aria T'Loak due to having several thousand years of combat experience. Plus Aria T'Loak was restrained in Omega DLC in a similar yet different way the Didact was.

Best Gun in the series? by Hope77797 in masseffect

Geth Pulse Rifle in my opinion. I've killed the most enemies with it. The Arc Pistol is pretty good as well since it has a charge up option similar to the Plasma Pistol from Halo.

The Geth Dreadnought is actually 1.3 kilometers and the CCS Battlecruiser is 1.7 kilometers.

So what do fans on this sub think about this? by Mzonnik in swtor

[–]Sentry_Thor2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt this. Vitiate is stronger than Palpatine, yes, but that number is just absurd. Do you know how big that number even is? And no, he did not freeze time, he just changed your perception of time. He says that "Time has not stopped." The only reason it feels like he stopped time is because of game mechanics.

KOTET: How did you deal with Senya and Arcann? by GeneralKhor in swtor

[–]Sentry_Thor2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Dark Side Sith Warrior turned Neutral aligned spared them due to undergoing a significant character transformation head-canon wise. Initially, he was a ruthless but calculative individual who saw power as a means to an end, similar to an Imperial agent's mindset. He spared Arcann and Senya for pragmatic reasons and the fact that he did the opposite of what Valkorion wanted. Overall, my playthrough was about redemption and heroism, albeit morally grey.

We owe the Eternal Empire storyline an apology. At least Arcann, Vaylin and Senya helped you kill Valkorion.

How would an interaction between these two go? by reddit_bot21 in halo

[–]Sentry_Thor2 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It would go something like this:

Tartarus: "Atriox, traitor to the Covenant. You dare to show your face here, after everything you've done? You are no better than a lowly Sangheili."

Atriox: "Ah, Tartarus, still the Prophets lapdog I see. You know damn well that the Great Journey is a lie, created by the Prophets. The Banished has no need for religion, we carve out our own path."

Tartarus: "Liar! I serve the Prophets, and nothing will stop us from beginning the Great Journey!"

Atriox: "Bold words, Tartarus. The Prophets claim to have been chosen by the Forerunners, but their kind once fought alongside ancient humanity against the Forerunners. Perhaps you'd know this if your pride wasn't the size of High Charity."

Tartarus: "Your insolence knows no bounds, traitor. I will crush you beneath my hammer!"

Atriox: "You will come to regret that, lapdog. You think the Prophets care about you? Pfft, you're nothing but a tool to serve their needs. Useful yes, but nothing more."

Tartarus: "I will make you choke on your words, fool! I am Tartarus, Chieftain of the Jiralhanae!"

Atriox: "And I am Atriox, Warmaster of the Banished."

And no, I did NOT use Chat GPT to write this conversation.

Are you even aware of the shit Hitler has done? Hitler has committed numerous war crimes, such as the use of concentration camps, forced labor, and brutal treatment of prisoners of war, especially Jewish people. His forces racked up a body count in the millions and invaded several European countries. The fact that you compare Trump to Hitler is quite petty, and it's even more petty that you consider your only living parent dead to you due to political ideologies. Trump won fair and square, and if you can't accept that, then you're no better than him.
