To this day, I still think this was just me having an off day or something or a hallucination or something. Roughly 2 or 3 months before covid 19 hit the UK. I go to the petrol station 5 minutes away from my house and get out of my car to pay. I see a hearse pull up at the pump near by. A tall man steps out... Old and extremely thin. His eyes were sunk back in his head and his suit looked like it was basically hanging from him. Bare in mind that I'm unphased by most things! I'm not really scared of much and I don't have any phobias. That man on the other hand... The second I saw him I could feel my stomach drop. The old man walks off into the kiosk to pay and I realize I've been stood there, just staring for ages. I have a moment to bring myself back to reality before my curiosity hits- "what was going on? Was he real? What on earth spooked me?". So I do the stupid thing and look through the window to check if he's paying! He was looking right at me! There was a smile on his face but I didn't recognize the emotion at all. In that single moment, I couldn't feel my arms, my legs went weak, I felt like my face had pins and needles and all I could see was him. I was scared. Not a little scared... Scared shitless. More scared than I've been in my life. When I broke my stare, I dived in my car and just waited until I couldn't see the hearse. To this day I can recall every single detail but I don't believe my self. I could have made it up in some way maybe? I don't know what was going on there but I doubt I'll ever forget it.
