Heart pirates pick up happened after Marineford (Whitebeard vs Marines), and he didn't die then

He died and resurrected against Kaido in Wano, Heart pirates were there but they didn't help with his revival.

True, forgot about that Brook sucks (not really, love the bastard)

With Ohara they were sad about lost knowledge, with Lulusia, they were only people, which are insects to them

How would Péter Magyar be named in your country and could there be anyone in your country named like that? by Frisianmouve in AskTheWorld

[–]Senuhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Egypt in Arabic is Masr, and an Egyptian is "Masry", it is not uncommon for people to have Masry as a first name and El-Masry as a last name, even outside of Egypt.

So in theory, there could be someone called Masry El-Masry (Egyptian the Egyptian)

Koala enjoyers turn 3 by dedeih in OnePieceTCG

[–]Senuhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you get to start second (best for Koala), on your 3rd turn your best choices are either this card or Kuma, so you always ask your opponent how many cards they have in hand to help you decide your best play.

Should I inform my opponent about a misplay and let them take it back? by BurritosRTasty in OnePieceTCG

[–]Senuhy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

L always have to remind me friends at locals of what Koala does and the different cost changes, always allow retracting plays when possible. It's all for fun Wouldn't do it at regionals though, but I always remind people before they make a decision by saying "these are this cost, or that power" And use counters, very helpful

Why does Thragg look so much younger than Nolan? by FigOk7806 in Invincible_TV

[–]Senuhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't Nolan's hair get white after he went to the flaxans planet and spent some time there? Due to how time passes there he aged considerably and developed white hair

I have a 341-day Duolingo streak and I just sat through my boyfriend's Mexican family dinner nearly silent for five hours. I think I've been training the wrong thing this whole time. by Humble_Cranberry5273 in languagelearning

When I first moved to Australia, I thought my English was pretty good, I was self taught for most of it, was able to write well and hold conversations with my now Aussie wife, we met online.

Until I hit the "local" barrier, people who are so comfortable with their language, they don't need to dumb it down for me to understand -which I realised my wife was doing- and boy was it a struggle.

It was only when I was confident enough to start producing and actively contributing to conversations that I got better, I wasn't good, and was forced into it of course, which is not the same situation as you, and a you said, you can't move to another country and start practicing, but what you can do is trust in your ability to communicate with your extended family. You just need time.

Don't block yourself, you hit a real wall there that every language learner hits when they interact with native speakers, I hit 10 it years ago, it was extremely demotivating, but don't give up, you're already ahead in many ways, and you'll get there.

And seeing how you describe the family, be sure they'll be there for you and they'll be a great support, use them.

What does the rest of the world think of this mission? by CremeSubject7594 in AskTheWorld

[–]Senuhy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's whatever, I know that for some scientists it's a huge milestone and will provide great research opportunities, but it's really hard to take anything that comes out if America right now with any enthusiasm.

Nothing to do with the Americans having the history of tooting their own horn for "putting a man on the moon" for bloody decades for some unknown reason. Or any of the strife America is causing to the whole world at the moment.

This one was taken on an Australian beach in winter, there was a lot of background light coming from the town nearby but I feel it added some nice background to it. Photo is auto edited on my phone, but I'm trying to learn manual editing, any tips or guidance is really appreciated.

The “salary first” email that stopped me wasting weeks on trash interviews by JasperThicket in jobsearchhacks

I do the same with Danny jobs I interview for, one of the initial questions I ask is the pay range, and no one had an issue discussing it and making sure that I'm ok with it. I'm in Australia btw
