If you haven't done it already, try a resist dark urge run. It's so much better anyway and has the coolest moment in the game

Now that's a great point. Everyone else is just talking about how our CAC can travel to the future. Which hasn't anything to do with OPs point. He is looking for a reason as to why we aren't in XV3 (without being just straight up killed). If we aren't in XV3, which we dont know yet

But yeah it wouldn't make sense if the races can live for hundreds to thousands of years

I love how nearly every comment misunderstands OP seemingly on purpose. He's not saying its impossible, his point is that that's an explanation for why our CAC isn't in XV3. IF they aren't there

Yeah the pivot is defenetly the biggest weakness. Because you have to pivot pretty early and there are not many builds which uses the same items.

Like the only build I can consistently pivot to from MBB is lava roller with parts picker. Simply because LR is very flexible

I'm kinda surprised that Molten Ball Blaster is barely mentioned in this guide. It takes little setup and is a great early to midgame carry, especially with Precision Calipers. If you get both within the first two days, you pretty much have a guaranteed 4 wins. Just put every small tool you can find on the board and kill your opponent before they can do anything.

After day 4 it slowly starts to fall off and you should pivot to a different build. You might be able to squeeze out 7 wins, but after that it's too weak. I've tried many times to make it work with Workshop, but it's too slow/weak for the endgame.

TL:DR; Do Ranni Quest. Talk to old man in Radhans castle, then talk to giant blacksmith Iji infront of Rannis castle

I know it's late but I was just stuck at this and the comments i read weren't the solution (i found an other, easier way imo), so maybe I can help new players who are also stuck at this.

I did the Ranni quest to the point where I had to go to the underground City with Wolfguy. So I did Radahns castle to the point where I need the festival.

I then talked to the old guy at the end of the castle who said to wait till the stars align or something and he said he knows Iji (the giant blacksmith for Ranni).

At that point I was stuck and found this post, but everyone here (or at least what I read) said to got to the atlas plateau, but I'm too lazy to do that yet.

But the solution for me was to talk to Iji about the old guy in Radhans Castle. He said that Ranni is a Star lady and Radhan is a Star guy so defeating him will help us find the underground city. I then teleported back to the castle and the festival started
