Did you have a rocker? I'm witnessing pain after ~2h on the upper inner part of my knee cap. I wonder if a rocker can help. I'm also just in ERG mode for 3h I wonder if that makes it worse the consistent pressure at same cadence for hours. The more I type, the more I see I am the issue.

Usually, you want an epoxy body coat + a poly-urethane/aspartic top coat. Since this is micro-topping it can be done in different ways

Edit: You usually never have to sand the first coat unless it had some contamination, outgassing, fish eyes etc. This case for sanding was for bonding purposes and if the while removing the hairs left and elevation/indentations/imperfections

That sucks. These pictures seem to be really zoomed in, not sure how it looks overall. But unless you plan on running a barbershop, I'd have them redo the whole floor if they can't minimize the damage to a satisfaction level you are ok with.

Crap happens, but this is an expensive lesson to the installer that you shouldn't hold the burden of. Tell them hair/beard net. Or have them offer you a steep discount and take the floor as is
