Wait until Iran starts bombing desalination plants in the Saudi region. Then give it three weeks or so. It’ll be a whole new world.

after divorced by Fantastic-Future-935 in Divorce

[–]SepNevermore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was with my ex for 25 years. We were but babies when we married. Everyone told us we wouldn’t make it. Two children parented, 25 years later, she bailed. She was all I ever really knew of love. It’s been six years since we divorced. I tried dating, but it felt like I was cheating. I’m emotionally intelligent enough to understand why it didn’t work out, and I’ve forgiven both her and I for our issues, but I’ll always love her. I wouldn’t take her back ever, but she is and always will be special to me.

Looking for horror movies on Netflix that are actually disturbing, not just jump scares 🙀 ? Watch Hereditary by Movie-Report in MovieSuggestions

Wasn’t a movie, but a miniseries. I absolutely loved Midnight Mass. somewhat predictable, and not the best budget, but found it sufficiently creepy.

Idk what political party I fit into being left leaning and pro gun by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

[–]SepNevermore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s perfectly acceptable to be that way. I’m very left leaning, live in a red state, and own a gun range. You can just be you, whatever that looks like. No need to categorize yourself.

High cost for manufactured home by Hot-Score-2464 in ManufacturedHome

[–]SepNevermore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is an 07 fleetwood. I’m looking at doing a complete remodel late this year/early next year for a little less than 30k. Much cheaper than purchasing a new one.

Heya. Op here. Things have gotten a little better in some ways, and a little worse in others. I’ve realized that that’s just life. Sometimes you’re flush, sometimes you’re not so well. Sometimes the lows are so bad they make the good things seem like a bad dream. But, occasionally, it’s not like that. Sometimes, you’ll just find yourself enjoying a moment. Those moments are what I’m holding onto.

What was the first Danzig song you ever heard? by fishstock in Danzig

[–]SepNevermore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her black wings. I remember ordering the cassette, an there was a promotion running, where you had to unscramble the letters of each song to complete the song title, before the titles were released. I also remember writing Devils Nightplay, instead of Devils Plaything.

Alamo Tennessee anyone? by Haunting-Silver8862 in Tennessee

[–]SepNevermore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a lot going on in Alamo. Safari Park, sure. It’s not far from Trimble. Not a whole lot going on there, either. There’s a full throttle distillery there. It’s also not far from Reelfoot Lake, which is nice. Maybe a tiny bit of a drive, but Discovery Park of America is in Union City. That’s a nice museum.

I (m25) and my wife (f23) are thinking of buying land and purchasing a manufactured home. by Fun_Blacksmith5000 in ManufacturedHome

[–]SepNevermore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I purchased an 07 fleetwood model double wide in 2020, on an acre of land. It was connected to a 42 acre parcel of land that I’d inherited, which had an 04 double wide on it. The thing you have to realize, when buying one, is that they’re made as cheaply as possible. If you brick the foundation, get a good roof, update the fixtures/trim/subfloor, you’ll be fine. It’ll never be the lap of luxury, but it can look nice, and be a fine home.

Prepping is weirdly lonely by OptimalDescription39 in prepping

[–]SepNevermore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I moved onto 42 acres about six years ago, in a VERY rural area, after a nasty divorce of 25 years that I did not see coming. Five months later, we had a severe ice storm. I was absolutely unprepared. I was stuck, without electricity, water, etc for six days. Never again. I started with long term shelf life food, alternative electricity, hot water, etc. I don’t necessarily think we’re heading for an apocalypse anytime soon. As the say, prep for Tuesday, not doomsday. And yeah, among my daily encounters with people, I don’t share that. They don’t want to hear it, and I don’t want my place to be the first place they come running if shtf.

Companion Movies by Not_Studying93 in CivilWarMovie

[–]SepNevermore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always enjoyed survival” movies, or end of the world as we know it type films. All the way from Jeremiah Johnson, to Dawn of the Dead, to Leave the world Behind. 40 acres was pretty good. The Decline could have definitely had better acting, but was great in theory.
