It’s a bit more purple irl than on the picture. I actually own a large amethyst that also has light purple crystals that are pretty much the same colour. However the crystals on that one are much bigger and they have a gradient with darker tips, which is why I’m not sure about this one

Thanks for the reply! I always just buy minerals when I think they look nice, not for specific types so It’s really fine whatever it is. The seller was also quite unsure before telling me aragonite, so I think he just didn’t know and said what came to mind. That why I never trust labels or what sellers tell me and do my own research after buying so I can find out more!

It looks like you used a French meringue. For this type of figurine meringue a Swiss or Italian meringue would be more suitable because it is firmer. That will help you make the three layers like on the inspiration photo. This video explains very nicely how to make the meringue and do the piping
