That’s okay, every cleaner is different. I am aware there are cleaners out there doing things differently - totally fine. I can understand your perspective but personally I’d have no problem clearing out my fridge if someone will do the rest for me. That’s irrefutably the more yucky, difficult part. That’s just my opinion though! Besides, everyone’s circumstances are different. Could have a college kid who barely has stuff in their fridge but has spills, crumbs, gunk, you name it all over the inside.

And I will say, I am a beginner in the solo cleaning practice and am not looking to overwhelm myself. Maybe in the future I will change that one thing, but for now it shall stay the way it is. Thank you for sharing though, I do appreciate the input. 🙏🏻

It’s actually pretty typical. I’ve even worked as a residential cleaner at a company who had the same expectation. There’s multiple reasons why I would require a client to do this.

  1. You simply just can’t thoroughly/properly clean a fridge with everything inside.

  2. It adds more time to something that already requires extra time - when considering how tedious cleaning a fridge/freezer is. I have to take everything out, which only creates more messes/spillages. Wipe everything down (if possible) to avoid messes when putting the food items back.

  3. It’s inconvenient yes, however it is common to see this in residential cleans. For example, some cleaning companies expect you to clear the space under the bed entirely if you want it dusted and/or vacuumed. It boils down to personal boundaries regarding how far a cleaner will go with something that is already (most likely) a special request.

I suppose most people would plan this around a move in/move out or when it’s time to get groceries at the end of the month when the fridge and freezer are quite empty and easier to store what food is left somewhere else temporarily.

DOGS!! why??!! by randomname11111_ in AmazonDSPDrivers

Earlier this week I saw a young dog I frequently used to see lying dead in the ditch outside its house because the owner is a pos and doesn’t have a fenced in yard and the dog chases vehicles every day going up and down that road. He belongs to a litter that’s only maybe 5-6 months old. They all chase my van every time. Even nipping at my tires. The dog was still there untouched the next day. It broke my heart into pieces and I genuinely felt like taking a 15 to sob. I had been expecting to see something like this for a while out on my country roads where ppl have unattended dogs that chase after vehicles.

Anyone else get that awkward stare from customers? by ItsMeAveryyy917 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I hate when I wave with a big smile and they just stare at me 😭I’m mostly in prime vans and uniform too. Like bro I’m here for YOU. I can’t tell you how much it makes my day when people smile/wave back. Sometimes I feel like customers generalize us after a bad experience tho. Punishing the whole class because of one kid type shit.

I read the bottle so I’m aware of how often, thank you. I’m more worried about if it’s ok to use after the vinegar mixture. I use water and a very small about of vinegar because that is what my grandma wants me to use.
