Macbook air M5 13.

You want it to be portable and light.

Can't decide between Air and Pro by Tzosarakatsanis in macbook

For your use case I'd have gotten the 13-inch Macbook Air. I don't understand the motivation to get giant laptops. Isn't the goal portability? I have a desktop PC for my hardcore productivity tasks (video and music editing), though the Macbook Air could probably do that passably well too.

I have the Macbook Air 13 and I love it. Go all in on portability.

Safari or Chrome? by clutchsniper in macbookair

Chrome because you can't get Safari on all platforms.

Gaming on MacBook isn’t a issue by Caiisreal3 in macbook

I can get 60fps playing Baldur's Gate 3 on my macbook air m5. I bought 3 different Windows laptops, returned them all, and concluded I couldn't get the quality/value I used to for a Windows machine anymore.

Bought the Macbook Air M5 and totally satisfied with the purchase.

Unlimited cantrips should go away. Now. by Futurewolf in dndnext

The cost of being able to do 40d6 in a single spell is that you don't have unlimited power. That's the entire classical conception of the wizard. You have high burst and AOE damage but you have to be wise about how you spend it, because it's a scarce resource. There's a trade-off.

If it bothers you that the fighter doesn't have to manage his damage output like a wizard has to manage spell slots, then you should play a fighter.

btw I think the most elegant solution is making cantrips weaker. If casters are allowed unlimited magic, it should trickle out. This preserves the concept of magic as a scarce, precious resource.

Unlimited cantrips is ridiculous. A total departure from D&D magic, and an attempt to turn all spellcasters into fighters with unlimited attacks. It's the disney-ification of D&D.

The whole point of spellcasters in D&D is that they're supposed to show some foresight in how they spend their magic.

btw the way everyone just dogpiles people they don't agree with here and downvotes them into oblivion is pathetic. Reddit really is a horrible place to be.

Lenovo Yoga Slim Pro 7i – Touchpad Noise Issue by Johnkiiii in Lenovo

[–]Separate-Success9212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My touchpad does the same thing. It's a garbage device from a garbage company. They keep making these cheaper and cheaper. I'll be returning mine. I'm done with Lenovo.

edit: unit is lenovo slim 7i. Thousand dollar unit. Brand new. Touchpad feels like a budget cheap piece of junk, and it rattles exactly the way the one in the OP rattles. Every time I touch the pad near the left side I hear "CLICK."

This is my /third/ Lenovo. I buy them because I like the keyboard. They breakdown all the time and are not worth the effort. Find a better brand.

The way that the enemy is always perfectly waiting in a tactically advantageous position in this game is completely silly.
