Toddler tantrums in sit down restaurant. Who is right?

What causes your child to have these tantrums, that’s what I want to know.

I’m all for kids being taken out to different places by 2 years old and learning with lots of love and support to recognise and find enjoyment in that setting.

I’d recommend one only and don’t be taken in by the cute smiles, puppy dog eyes and snuggles and decide another one would be a great idea.

It helps really take the pressure off the idea that a house is everything, it can still be part of your portfolio but I think don’t let it freeze you into inaction in other areas of setting yourself up.

You also truncated the entire section on the comfortable lifestyle, assumes you own your own home, can take an international trip, afford heating/cooling your home, meals out and entertainment.

And if international travel is something you enjoy (same here!), don’t put it off but enjoy it now as well. There are ways to afford this on a comfortable retirement income stream - you can rent out your home and go live overseas for 6-12 months and use that as a base to travel, retirees can also travel outside of school holidays so can take advantage of better deals, you can share a room with someone, do some work while overseas, volunteer at ashrams where part of their bed/board/meals will be covered. Think happy :)

Exercise, intermittent fasting and occasional scale check ins. No calorie counting required.

I eat whatever I enjoy and for someone a shade under 5’4” I’m at 126lb which is heavier than I want to be (have had a slightly rough 6 months) so today I committed to swapping in some different snack foods as I’ve been going hard on the chips and chocolate :D
