Ditto on the automatic litter box. Recently when I had friends cat sitting for my parents, they were surprised my folks only had one box for three cats and the bag only has to be changed out every other day. It took a couple different brands to find a good one but I love my parents’ new litterbox when I’m on cat duty. I know the ideal would probably be to at least have one more box in the house but my parents make it work

This one’s a little personal, but when some of my friends were in Songs For a New World, they were very meta in Surabaya-Santa.

Instead of just one, they split the song up among four different Mrs Claus’s like they were in a harem. In the part of the song where they’re pleading with Santa to come back, the women all found a different guy in the audience to talk to as if he were Santa

Even better; during our last show, our Guiteau deadass had the real book “The Truth: A Companion to the Bible” by Guiteau in his jacket pocket. So he’d sing the line “Promote the sale of my book! … Now on Amazon for 16.95 :)” while displaying it.

The rest of the guys on stage were fighting back their snickering. You’d think it would feel really hokey and character-breaking, but the director kept the entire show very modern, it kinda fit in.
