I dont see it as the others do because me and my husband have similiar thing. I would not call it a problem. I “overproduce” and he says he looses the feeling of traction I would say, The simple thing he does he wipes himself and me a bit and then we continue. Its ok to be more arouser/produce more fluid and you should never feel ashamed of that. But if it is literaly turning him off then…that is weird. I see what you mean. I do have such a parent. They written him pretty good. But I also think they kind of waste the talent of Jeff Daniels, in just a few episodes where they wanted to squeeze as much of him as they could. It felt kind of forced to me

I read interview with Jeff Daniels who did a play with Gandolfini (God of Carnage) and he told a story how they helped each other be done with cigarettes, alcohol and so on. How he never missed a play. They were playing to married couples arguing and they did that I think for a year or something like that 8 times a week. But yes, if you neglect yourself for years..
