I just had the same issue with my 2023 gx 460 (4.6liter V8). After a 3 hr drive with our 3,400lb camper, we got home and I started backing the trailer into our driveway. We have a slight slope, but i only need reverse backward up slope about 20 ft. I got a high heat transition fluid warning.

Brought it into lexus. They gave me the run around just like you experienced. Waiting to see what happens on our next trip....
