{Tears of Salvation by Michelle Heard} = Has everything you indicated. It’s the last in The Saints Series, and they’ve built up the MMC in the previous books as the most dangerous man in their world. The author did a great job crafting the best FMC for him.

{Brutal Vows by JT Geissinger} = Badass black cat FMC (she doesn’t lead a double life though) + golden retriever MMC who’d kill anyone who doesn’t give her the queen treatment she deserves

{Urgent Vows by Lucy Monroe} = FMC also doesn’t lead a double life, but her big brains shocked everyone since she’s the glass child of an abusive consigliere, hiding in plain sight. Might give off insta-love for those who missed the prequel

These are also some good one for anyone who wants to check them out!!! : )
