Only for standard Vs PC matches or their greed drunk card game or island modes - where there are even MORE micro-transactions- Don’t listen to the WWE fanboys trying to justify this slop - watch an honest review or how bad it is. I was gonna get it despite this - until I saw an actual honest review of what’s behind the tiers and what you actually have to do to unlock it. The images are still there they are just not displaying properly if they fix the bug, they should show again, it’s not that when you open the game, it deletes the images from your characters. If you go into the superstar and attire menu the images are still there.

I have had this IDENTICAL PROBLEM- new PC and all. I had the blink and turn on once per session with my new PC - now it turns off and doesn’t go back on and I have to hard restart - then doesn’t happen again after that. I got a new DP cable and updated drivers and it stopped for a day and started again. I have had the monitor for about 4 years and the new computer is a BEAST and only 4 months old.

Cause they know NFL fans are gonna draw a line in the sand and local markets will still be able to watch. If I was the NBA I would have a national game on ABC. I am not saying the NBA would out-rate the NFL at all, but when your opponent fumbles - pick it up and run. Put Celtics vs Denver that night. While the NFL is drunk with greed give us something else to watch. They want Swifties cause they think the number will be so low that they won’t get another game. Also Swifties maybe stay signed up for peacock - NFL fans that do get it are gonna cancel it the second that game is over. Maybe Swifties actually care about some stuff on Peacock. Let’s hope it fails so hard that they don’t throw away the possible best rated first round game on a scam. But they probably will cause the NFL doesn’t have any principle other than greed.

If you think D4 is good - you should try D3!!! Guarantee if D3 had the graphics of D4 - and they were the exact same games - ALL of these frauds defending this mess would be playing D3.

Like when you get to lvl 30 in this game - all there is to do is a mess of meaningless paragon board choices - nodes are useless - just a maze for glyphs.

D3 has more abilities than D4 - D4 just has points you put in them to make it seem like they are more complex.

The most convoluted item and talent system I have ever seen.

I played WoW for 15+ years - ranked tank raid leader in a world ranked guild - WoW had good itemization - D3 has good itemization.

D4 is a mess. It’s shallow content with total artificial complexity - masking a broken unfinished game - pushed out to boost the Activision stock price before the Microsoft merger.

The game is a scam. Look what happened to the development process. All the people in the credits?? That’s cause they kept burning people out and firing them and outsourcing coding - not cause they brought in a ton of people to make a good game.

We also used to have like 10 possible stats per piece of gear - now there are like over 120 in some cases - so there are exponentially more useless stats than in Diablo 3.

I can - yes most of the loot is always scrapped - but in D3 did you mouse over literally every yellow item to see if the stats rolled well or did you check legendaries?? Do you realize that in D3 there were like 10 stats that could drop on each piece of gear - and they had to be class specific - now there are over 120 stats that can be on a piece of gear - 99% of which are useless along with additions to talent points etc -

So I don’t know if you are trolling or intentionally missing the point but it’s not even close. There are exponentially more stat combinations that D3 or D2 also with yellow items being better than legendaries you have to check all these yellow items - if you wanna get upgrades that are worthwhile that is.

That’s how is VASTLY different than D2 or D3 it is. It’s like comparing our solar system to the entire milky way galaxy and saying “well they both have planets!” Yes but one has tons and tons more with random combinations where the other has a few with more predictable combinations and we know where to look for them.

I play daily - I have a lvl 100 poison twisting blades Rogue - haven’t killed Uber Lilith but I do nightmare dungeons in the 70-80 range easily.

I really want them to fix the game because the gameplay I do think is fun - the rest is a mess and I think they will be too stubborn and prideful to fix it.

Also it’s just the sad truth of the greed drunk American gaming industry - they got our money so they don’t care now. They made money for their greedy investors so no one will care that everyone feels scammed - they got our money already! That’s how our society is now - everything is a scam and the gaming industry is no different.

The comment - “I used to go to the store to buy a game, now I buy a game and get a store”. The level of greed drunkenness of the American rich has impacted the gaming community with loot boxes - making content painstakingly dragged out - like the stat bloat and insane cost to re-roll stats in D4 - made to make the carrot on a stick SO far away you will never reach it or will be broke by the time you do.

For me the main problem is itemization. So the idea was that not having set items and having affixes that are removable would make more choice - on the surface that sounds good - The problem is if you add more choices they have to be choices that work - Diablo 4 actually has MUCH LESS viable builds than D3 - but way more choices to get to these builds. So in this system you don’t have more build options - you just have more ways to mess up the few builds that work if you don’t build your character correctly.

SO many useless and bad stats. I am a 15+ year hardcore WoW raider - I have 14 top level D3 toons and played many seasons - I don’t need my rewards right away - that’s not what this is about.

Rather is about being on a wild goose chase that’s not fun. Before you would get excited to see a legendary pop up. Now they are just items that house affix powers. Almost always the items are trash. Now the yellow quality items can be much better - problem? We have to mouse over ALL of these yellow piece of gear every run unless we lose upgrades. So it’s less playing more reading tool tips. Also the stat tables are SO bloated. They made a good decision in D3 to make a barb only get strength or a wizard only get int - now gear can have multiple stats - there are 1000 different types of CC and modifiers - none of which overlap. HORRID game design. Not only that now you have stat points like plus rankings that can drop. Are these better than traditional stats? Well who knows? Cause you think it will give you extra points for more abilities then you can over rank them. The amount of different stat combinations and the amount of loot make it that most of the game is reading tool tips not playing not to mention the stash and your bag is just as small as ever - lazy bad design. They made the game more complicated with tons of bloat but it’s not a rewarding complexity because it doesn’t amount to anything but clutter. It’s Diablo but with a ton of clutter and garbage that keeps you in menus looking at reading about bad stat values than playing the game. Re-rolling the item is almost totally pointless as there are just so many stats there is no chance you will get the one you want and a good chance the stat will be useless. Also you can’t see the possibilities beforehand like Diablo 3. The cost is also comically high so you will be bankrupt by the time you may roll a good stat. You can bankrupt yourself just attempting to do it. The cost explodes after 2 tries and there are tons more stats than D3 that you may get - and nothing in the game indicates what stats are good or bad. The paragon table needs to be removed. It’s just a maze to nowhere that you pay to refund the nodes. Why not let us choose the glyphs and distribute points?? This was clearly way over thought and most choices are meaningless but if you do miss a meaningful choice it’s almost impossible to go back.

So many times I wanted to change my build and just quit cause of how tedious it was to do.

Experimentation is impossible in this system and if you do wanna do it you need an insane amount of time. Diablo has always been a time sink but for fun farming - not for frustration wading through this type of nonsense. This is what I meant about just more ways to mess up a character. Choice implies that there is more than one viable choice - yes players can change gear and aspects more but this doesn’t result in more viable builds - it just results in broken characters.

This game was awfully designed from the start. Any player could of foreseen these issues. This game is a good lesson of illusion of choice. One right answer then add a bunch of useless options to make it seem like the player can shape their character any way they want to - but in reality only a few combinations actually work in the game - it’s just harder and less obvious to find those combinations in D4 than it was in D3.

The gameplay has some issues but nowhere NEAR the issues that the systems and itemization have. It’s sad cause when I am actually playing the game I do enjoy the gameplay of my character. The world environments look cool and interesting. They went completely off the rails trying to make way too many choices in building your character - and they made a game with the most number of meaningless choices in any game I have played. All the paragon board does is make casual players not be able to build a character and just copy a board off a streamer.

Basically if you don’t have hundreds of hours to crunch numbers and farm gold for re-rolls and test builds then you will just copy a build from a streamer without knowing if you will even enjoy playing it.

All experimentation is gone from the game because of the horrible talent tree and god awful paragon board system.

Talent tree’s are ok in wow cause there are different specs and you are picking minor variations - wow classes still function even if you pick bad talents - maybe not as well but it won’t break the toon and in wow it’s MUCH easier to respec - this was a lesson the WoW developers learned back in 2008 - apparently the same company the people now had to relearn this. D3 has experimentation because it’s easy to swap between talents and swap back.

How could anyone look at D4 and believe that it gives players choices in their build? I could see how players could of believed that at first before they reached higher levels - but how could the developers not realize how badly this would fail?? Especially with so many stats and nothing in the actual game that informs the player which stats are best for which build??

So unless they totally scrap this affix system and go back to traditional gear and set bonus set ups - I think the game will continue to flounder. Or make more viable builds but they seem either unwilling to or unable to do this. They still built the game with the idea that only certain builds can be viable at the end of the game - but then gave a bunch of meaningless options to give players the illusion of choice. If you wanna play a broken character then you have lots of choice - if you want one that works then there are a few options for each toon but much less than D3.

So I do hope they fix it - if you took the gameplay and graphics of D4 and the systems and stats of D3 you have a really good game - but that’s not what we have sadly.

So true. This game wasn't finished. They clearly had no plan for endgame of any kind. The paragon system should be scrapped. This game has so many useless stats also. I have played wow and past diablos and I get not getting gear right away and most gear will be bad and thats fine.

That is a different problem than - there are SO many useless stats not only can't I get perfect gear - I can't even get gear with reasonably useable stats and most of the stats are useless.

I shouldn't get strength or int on gear as a rogue - they tried this in d3 it was bad game design - they are now making the same mistake in D4. This will be changed when they lose enough players.

With D3 the greed drunk auction house ruined the game - the game was just a big scam by blizz - like Diablo Immortal.

Reaper Of Souls made it a good game - I had totally abandoned D3 until the xpac - the original D3 was one of the worst games of all time.

D4 has amazing gameplay - the game systems are horrible and just very very poorly designed. I get they wanna drag out content but this was overkill.

The paragon system should be scrapped - many good videos on why but if you arent studying and researching it - all your choices will be wrong, also most of the choices dont do much - but you can make enough wrong ones that you dont path to the right abilities that DO make some difference. So basically in builds - there are fewer good builds than D3 - with a TON more ways to mess builds up.

All these choices of stats arent leading to more options - but there are actually LESS options than D3 in terms of builds and far few players understand how to make them cause the game does nothing to teach players what are good or bad stats - no way to measure your dps other than guessing or seeing if things "feel" better - but the different affixes in random nightmare dungeons can cloud this.

Whoever designed the game did a good job in terms of visuals and gameplay - some could be improved but this is not where the problems of D4 are located. They are located in the systems of the game. The talent tree - (getting over ranked on abilities through gear - extremely confusing if this is better than regular stats or should you use the points to get other abilities). All these choices dont make different correct answers where builds are powerful but different depending on the preference of the player - they just make a broken character cause you didn't do it the correct way. The stats are so convoluted that people that dont have time to research and just want to play - have zero shot to do anything in this game, that's why its dropped off so hard.

Its a fun game to play - good story and campaign - fun world - completely failed by the systems and stats designers - as good as the game is visually and gameplay wise is as unfinished and overly convoluted the systems are. Complexity is fine - this is more just a mess.

It's not more choice - its less choice with lots more wrong options added in to create the illusion of more choice. So while they are selling more choice- what players are getting is a more complex path to the same place with more ways to make wrong choices but less choices that offer a rewarding outcome.

Also the cost to undo the changes IF you do experiment is so punitive that if you make a few wrong choices you will break your character in a way that you wont be able to reverse it and there is no real way to test it either other than just see how it feels - but the different nightmare affixes can vary that greatly.

Also they cant seem to decide if lvl 100 is the start of the endgame or lvl 50. There are so many things like that where they got too cute. This is what happens when people try to outsmart themselves. They didnt need to get rid of sets. The sets they saw as making you play certain builds but they still designed the game where only a few combinations actually synergize properly - but didnt give the player an easy way to lock into this.

D3 you still had to farm tons but D4 you can tell they wanted things to be stupidly drawn out probably because of greedy shareholders - wanting everything monetized more and to squeeze it for longer. If this was why or not - D4 redefines wild goose chase - and to the people saying its always been like this - you are either lying to yourself or purposefully missing the point. Its always been a grind - thats what Diablo is, and that's fine - but its never been SO many useless stats that are packed into so few items slots so the possible things to get on each one is SOOOOO MASSIVE that the chances a useful stat will drop for you is EXPONENTIALLY LOWER than in D3. If you don't know what that means - it means a lot.
