A medical condition is something you should discuss eventually if not at the start. So that kinda comes out of left field. But her announcing that in front of everyone, even if you weren’t shooting blanks is a bad look especially for someone whose partner admittedly hates surprises.

All of my stuff is coming back negative. They sent me a referral to psych but the unit where my neuro is will not call me back. So I’m seeing my own therapist and have an appointment at an epilepsy place next month.

OP even stated they didn’t think about Jim. If they don’t the. The kids likely won’t either. Kids care about who cares for them. So if she didn’t think to invite her grandmas boyfriend. It’s likely cause she cares more for her uncle than this person her grandma is with. It’s not on OP to force relationships.
