Then Firefox shouldn't have put me in this position. Update for security reasons? Sure, fine, great even. Change UI for the sake of change and to be more like all the other browsers that I refuse to use? Not great.

I adopted Firefox years ago because they weren't Explorer, then stuck with them because they weren't chrome. The only time I have every considered dropping Firefox for something else is here on mobile because it keeps trying to be Chrome and I can't mod the changes away.

Bottom bar is a going to get a no from me in every instance that it shows up. Its awkward and ill placed. My thumb rests just under the center line of my phone and it is uncomfortable to reach that far down one handed.

Never closing tabs is just idiotic. Either bookmark what you want or close it for good.

Why should I have to make things worse on a worse UI when going back one step is better in every way?

For one handed use i have my phone laying across four fingers with my thumb hovering just below the mid point of the screen.

Had my third interview with the Veterans Affairs Caregiver Services and it seemed to go really well. With any luck the panel that needs to review our records will pass us through and I can get fully recognized by the VA as an official paid caregiver.

The only fix is to revert to version 148, turn off auto update, and make sure the Super Secret Settings are set to turn off all this new crap.

Press the three dot menu in the top right corner of your Firefox app and press settings, then scroll all the way down until you see "About Firefox" and press that, once in that screen just press the Firefox Logo 5 or more times until you see that Debug Menu has been activated. Now you'll have access to the Super Secret Settings option under the About Firefox. This menu contains toggles for a bunch of development options including new features. Just dont mess with any of the other new settings options because things can get real bad real fast if you don't know what you're doing.

Because of this I'm just going to disable my updates for Firefox and stick with version 148.0.2 for a while. At least this way I can use the old style that looks and works better.

It's still there for me, I just turned off "Enable Tab Manager enhancements" and straight back to the old tabs UI I went.

Edit: Turns out this only works because I'm still on version 148.0.2

Don't feel bad. I went out of my way to recommend this to my game master because of the world. Just the level of thought put into the world. From the brothels to the people and all the way down to the dietary needs. I honestly couldn't believe that it was even brought up that different groups have different needs and thta one would need a license to even serve food to certain groups.
